The IBPS RRB Prelims 2023 exam will be held on August 05, 06, 12, 13 & 19, 2023. Candidates who pass the Office Assistant Prelims 2023 will only be eligible for the Mains exam. IBPS RRB Clerk Selection Process 2023
The IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2023 recruitment process will be only open to qualified graduates. They have to go through two stages of a selection process which are as follows:
The preliminary examination is the first stage of the recruitment process. IBPS will conduct the exam to screen out non-qualified candidates for the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The exam pattern for IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims is given in the table below:

The preliminary examination will be conducted online. It will consist of objective-type questions.
The candidate will be given a total of 45 minutes to complete both sections.
If a candidate answers a question incorrectly, he or she will be penalised 0.25 marks.
The Prelims Exam is only for qualifying purposes, and the marks obtained in it will not be considered for final selection.
Candidates who pass the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Preliminary Exam with a score higher than the cutoff will be eligible to attempt the Mains exam. This is the most important stage in the selection process, as applicants will be selected for the final merit list entirely based on their performance in this stage. The exam pattern of the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains exam is as follows:
Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude/ Numerical Ability, English/ Hindi Language, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness are the five sections in the Mains examination.
The main exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions worth 200 marks.
The total time duration of the Mains exam is 2 hours.
For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.
Candidates who apply for the position of Office Assistant will be called for a provisional allotment after passing the Mains exam. The provisional allotment shall be limited to the RRBs of the state chosen.
A provisional allotment list will be created in each category based on the available seats; however, this does not guarantee employment.
The candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, and the final allotment will be done on a merit basis.
The Government of India’s guidelines for age relaxations, reserved categories, and so on will be followed during the provisional allotment of seats.
If two or more candidates receive the same marks, an allotment will be made based on the candidate’s date of birth(s).
Only merit candidates from the reserved category will be revised against unreserved category vacancies. They will be given provisional allotment first, treating them as reserved candidates based on their preference for Regional Rural Banks.
Failure to provide the documents may mark the candidate ineligible for the IBPS RRB Office Assistant post. Below is the list of documents that are required for the verification purpose:

Proof of Date of Birth (Class 10th certificate/ Birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation).
Photo Identity Proof.
Mark sheets & certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification etc. A proper document from the board or university stating that the result has been declared.
Income and Asset Certificate.
Disability certificate issued by the authorised medical board.
Ex-Servicemen must submit Proforma B from the Competent Authority, which shows the date of completion of a specific period of engagement (SPE), along with a declaration in Proforma C.
Candidates working in government/quasi-government offices/public sector undertakings (including nationalised banks and financial institutions) must provide a “No Objection Certificate.”
Individuals who are eligible for an age reduction must bring the necessary documentation.
IBPS RRB Clerk Final Allotment
After all stages of the IBPS RRB Clerk selection procedure gets completed, the final merit will be declared based on the performance of the candidates. The list shows the state-wise roll numbers of qualified applicants who are assigned to various Regional Rural Banks (RRB).

IBPS RRB Clerk Language Proficiency Test
Candidates must be fluent in the language specified by the RRB. Applicants who have previously studied the state language in Class 8 or any level above Government recognised Boards of Education/Schools or who have a certificate of Class 8 or any level above would be regarded as competent in that local language.
If the applicant does not fulfil the criteria in the local language at the time of selection, he will be given six months from the date of joining to learn it. The boards of RRBs may extend this period within the framework of the rules, provided that such extension does not extend beyond the probation period.
