Career Skills

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 decided to improve India’s educational system significantly. By 2025, the policy aims to teach occupational skills to at least half of all students, so that skills obtained in school can be extended to higher education levels, depending on the needs of individual students.

Students in grades 6 through 11 will be able to take vocational skill-based courses offered by the CBSE. Students will be taught these courses at the start of the academic year 2020-2021. These skill classes would assist pupils in gaining the necessary abilities for future jobs. These courses will be short, requiring only 12 hours of teacher instruction time.
