The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is governed by the Nagaland State government. The Board prescribes, regulates, supervises and develops the educational system of the State for the classes up to the higher secondary level. The Board prepares the curriculum, syllabus and prescribes textbooks for secondary and higher secondary and conducts the examinations. 

The NBSE Class 10 board exam is held from March 10, 2023 to March 22, 2023. The students who fail in one or more subjects in the regular exam can register and appear for the supplementary exam, which is held in June/July. The Nagaland Board of School Education conducts an annual Class 10 exam for registered students. The NBSE HSLC exam comprises seven subjects Social Science, Science, Mathematics, English, one second language from the list of options, sixth subject from Music, Home Science, FIT, Environmental Education, etc. All subjects are for 3 hours. The vocational papers will have a two-hour duration. In general, a student must obtain a minimum of 33% to clear the Nagaland Board Class 10 exam. • The Nagaland Board Class 10 exams will be conducted from March 10, 2023 to March 22, 2023.
• Nagaland Board Class 10 Admit Card 2023 released by the Board on its official website.
• Schools can collect the NBSE Class 10 Admit Card but issue them to the students only after February 27, 2023.
• This decision was taken in view of the State Assembly Election.

NBSE starts the application procedure for the Class 10 board examinations on its official website in November. To appear for the NBSE HSLC final examination, candidates must fill out the NBSE HSLC application form. Candidates who desire to sit for the NBSE board exams must complete and submit the application form by the NBSE deadline. Candidates who do not finish the application process within the allotted time must pay a late registration fee in addition to the application fees. 

 

How To Submit Nagaland Board Class 10 Application Form?

Nagaland Board HSLC application forms will be downloaded by school administrators from the official website. Students will have to submit their application forms to their respective school authorities within the given deadline. Below are the steps to be followed for downloading the Nagaland Board Class 10 application form:

• 1st Step: Go to the NBSE’s official website.
• 2nd Step: On the home page’s right sidebar, click the “Notification” tab.
• 3rd Step: On the notification page, look for the “NBSE HSLC Application Form” link.
• 4th Step: Candidates must fill out the application form correctly with the assistance of school officials.
• 5th Step: Upon completing the application form, click the Submit button to begin the payment process.
• 6th Step: After completing the payment process, save and print the submitted form for future reference.

NBSE HSLC exam consists of seven papers and eighteen subjects. Candidates taking the exam can choose between English and one of the many Indian languages as their medium of instruction. Internal assessments carry significant marks and will be graded by the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE).

• All the above subjects are 100 marks (80 marks mentioned in weightage) and Internal assessment (20 marks).
• Additional subjects consist of (70 theory + 30 Internal assessments). The Work & Art Education, Physical and Health Education subjects comprise 100 marks.
