Nagaland Class 10 Exam Preparation Tips

Study Plan to Maximise Score

With the exams quickly approaching, we’re sure you’ve already developed a strategy for exam preparation. However, here are some points of reference to help you prepare properly and score a good score.

  • Plan a Schedule – When exams are approaching, time management becomes difficult. Creating a study plan will not only help you manage your time, but it will also reduce the amount of stress you feel during exam preparation. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to creating a study schedule. It is customised based on factors such as available study time, study pattern, and learning speed, among others. Make a timetable that works for you and stick to it.
  • Make Notes – While revising, it’s a good idea to keep the side of your notes. This will be useful for quick reference prior to the exams.
  • Solve Previous Year’s Questions as Well as Example Questions – Solving Previous Years’ exam papers will help you become acquainted with the pattern of questions. You’ll be able to assess both your level of preparedness and areas of weakness. If you continue to practise, you will be able to increase your writing speed and finish the exam on time. These will also help you understand NBSE HSLC Exam Pattern.
  • Understand the Concepts Thoroughly – Understanding the concepts is critical. It will not help you memorise the answers if you do not understand the principles. If you have any doubts, get them sorted right away. If you don’t understand something in the textbook, always approach your teacher. Without a doubt, your teacher will assist you in resolving your concerns. Look up guides and videos on Embibe to gain a better understanding of the subject.
  • Say Goodbye to Anxiety and Tension – Anxiety and tension can derail your plans. Make an effort to remain calm while preparing for the exams. If you are serious about your efforts and thorough with the subjects, you will be free of worry and anxiety.
  • Take a Break on Regular Intervals – As the human brain can’t focus on one thing for an extended period of time, taking regular intervals during the study will help you to concentrate more and keep your body and mind awake.
  • Self-Assessment – Self-assessment will help you prepare for your exams and ensure that you are confident in your abilities. The completion of a large number of model questions is required for self-evaluation.
  • Maintain a Positive Attitude – Last but not the least, believe in yourself. Have faith in your ability to write the exam correctly and earn high marks. If you have prepared properly, you will definitely remain positive. Self-assurance is the most effective test-taking strategy.

Nagaland Class 10 Exam Strategy 2022

Some of the exam taking strategies are given below:

  • Time management is a very important skill, and one should practice a sufficient amount of mock tests to develop the best suited time management strategy for the examination.
  • You should be confident and keep a calm composure while writing the exam.
  • It is recommended to read the whole question paper before starting to answer them. We should mark the question in which we have doubts and keep them for answering later.
  • Do not waste time answering questions for which you are unsure of the answer. If you get stuck in the middle of answering the question, you should skip it and return to it later.
  • Must pay special attention while numbering the question while attempting to answer it.
  • Never leave any question unanswered even if you don’t know the exact answer, then try to write something that you know which is related to that question, do this only if you have extra time left after answering all the questions, you know.
  • Before you start, read the instructions written in the question paper very carefully.
  • Prior to submitting the answer sheet, you should go through all the solutions and check if we have answered all the questions and nothing is left unanswered.

Detailed Study plan

Students who want to perform well in the exam should take a systematic approach and prepare a study plan.

It is important to be aware of one’s own strengths and weaknesses in order to plan accordingly. This is your subject-by-subject study schedule.

Study Strategy for Mathematics:

Maths can sometimes be tough for students to grasp. The following are some math tactics to help you better comprehend the subject. To improve your grades, get a thorough comprehension of key concepts and topics.

  • Every day, practise solving problems and exercise questions.
  • Study the simple ideas first, then the more complex ones.
  • Avoid making foolish mistakes during practice sessions and make an effort to correct them.
  • Make a book with a list of essential equations and review it regularly.
  • To save time during the exam, adopt short approaches in the calculations.
  • Understand the blueprint as well as the question pattern thoroughly.
  • Examine question papers from past years.

Study Strategy for Chemistry:

Because of the multiple equations, reactions, formulas, and experiments that are required, chemistry can be a challenging topic at times. To get a good mark in Chemistry, follow the advice below:

  • Students must conduct in-depth research on the subject and devote a significant amount of practice time.
  • Before moving on to more difficult topics, make sure you understand the basics.
  • Formulas and equations that are important should be put down on a piece of paper or a chart that you can see every day. You will be able to recall them clearly throughout tests if you do this.
  • Use the laboratory regularly. It will assist in the acquisition of practical knowledge and a better comprehension of the fundamentals.
  • Understand the blueprint as well as the pattern of the question paper.
  • Solve at least one question paper from the previous years.

Study Strategy for Physics:

Due to the various numericals, experiments, formulas, laws, and diagrams, few students perceive Physics to be a challenging topic. The following approaches can be used by students to solve these challenges.

  • You should first get a good comprehension of the basic ideas.
  • Recognise the connections between diverse concepts.
  • Questions involving formulas are common on physics exams. As a result, pay greater attention to it.
  • To learn physics, use a pen and paper to write and solve numerical problems.
  • Have a good understanding of the blueprint and previous question paper.
  • Make a list of key formulas, laws, and diagrams.
  • Take a lot of practice tests.

Study Strategy for Biology:

Biology is a simple but fascinating subject that deals with living organisms and their environments. It’s an issue with a lot of points. Here are some tips to help you get a better grade.

  • Make a neatly labelled diagram as a practice.
  • Make a list of key topics, such as plant and animal scientific names, diseases, causative organisms, symptoms, and so on.
  • Because there are so many technical words, avoid making spelling mistakes.
  • Spend as little time as possible on diagrams.

Study Strategy for Social Science

Social Science is a high-scoring and fascinating subject. Here are some pointers to help you get good grades in Social Science:

  • Make a list of important dates, names, events, and so on.
  • Thoroughly read the textbook.
  • Chapters such as Public Administration, The State and Political Science, Nagaland Towards Modernity, and others teach by relating to daily life and current events.
  • Learn the maps of various geographical areas.
  • Prioritise old question papers and mock tests.

Study Strategy for English

English is another high-scoring subject that takes less time to prepare than Mathematics and Science. As a result, give your best effort in the exam, which will in turn help you improve your overall exam percentage. Here are some pointers to help you get good grades in English:

  • Read newspapers, storybooks, novels, science fiction, and other materials to help students improve their English language skills and prepare for the Nagaland board exam.
  • Give more weight to sections that do not require much preparation, such as unseen passages, note-taking, and so on.
  • Grammar is an essential component of the language. Make sure you understand the fundamentals of grammar.
  • Avoid spelling errors.
