Date Sheet of Class 8th PSEB 2022 — Important Points

The Punjab Board has issued some guidelines for Class 8 bi-annual examinations. They are as follows:

The Punjab Board has plans to conduct 8th class exams soon if the COVID-19 situation in the country remains under control.
As per the new exam policy, the Term 1 exam will have objective-type questions carrying 1 mark each. The Term 2 exam will consist of subjective-type questions.
The officials at PSEB board have not yet finalised the marks distribution for the term 1 and term 2 exams.
PSEB will soon upload the sample question papers on the official website based on the new exam pattern. It will help teachers and students on the new exam policy and pattern.
The syllabus for Term 1 and Term 2 examinations will be different.
The final result will be prepared based on the cumulative marks of both the exams.
The Punjab Board is planning to give 40% weightage to Term 1 exam, 40% weightage to the Term 2 exam and 20% to internal assessment.
