RBI Grade B Selection Process 2023: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) specifies the selection procedure for Grade B exam in its official notification. Candidates who want to work for one of the most prestigious organisations must go through three stages of selection to be considered for this position. RBI Grade B Officer Selection Stages 2023

The RBI Grade B Recruitment 2023 exam notification will be released soon. This recruitment is composed of three stages of selection. The first and second stages are online objective tests with sectional time limits. Candidates will be selected based on their overall performance in the second stage and the interview round. The three-phase selection process is as follows:

  • Stage 1: Phase 1 (Prelims)
  • Stage 2: Phase 2 (Mains)
  • Stage 3: Interview

Note – It is mandatory for candidates to pass all three phases to be considered for a position as a Grade B Officer in RBI offices.

RBI Grade B Phase 1 Selection Process: Prelims Exam

The Prelims exam is the qualifying round. The marks obtained at this stage will have no impact on the final result. However, in order to advance to the next stage of the selection process, candidates must get a minimum cut-off. The RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam consists of 200 questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. Each subject has its own sectional timings.

RBI Grade B Interview Selection Process

Based on an aggregate of marks obtained in Phase 2 (Paper 1 + Paper 2 + Paper 3) candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. The interview carries 50 marks. Candidates can opt for the interview in English or Hindi. The board will decide the minimum aggregate cut-off for being shortlisted for an interview concerning the number of vacancies.

Later, the RBI will release the list of selected candidates’ roll numbers on their website. This merit list will be prepared by adding marks secured in the Phase 2 examination and interview.
