A citizen of India, or

A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee permanently settled in India from and before January 1, 1962.
A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
Note- Candidate from categories (2), (3), (4), or (5) provides a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India to the recruiting body.

According to the Railway Board, a candidate must have a minimum level of educational qualification to apply for the RRB Group D exam 2022. The following are the academic criteria for the RRB Group D exam:
Candidates must have completed the tenth grade from a recognised board or
Have an ITI degree, or
Have National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Note:
If a candidate is awaiting the final result, he or she will be ineligible to apply for RRB Group D 2022.
A Diploma/ Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in place of the Act Apprenticeship / ITI course. In addition, Graduate Act Apprenticeship will not be accepted in place of the Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
RRB Group D Medical Standards
Applicants must satisfy specific medical standards to meet the RRB Group D eligibility criteria. Candidates selected for Document Verification/ DV must pass a Medical Fitness Test administered by the Railway Administration.
