SSC CPO 2023 Eligibility Criteria  

The SSC CPO eligibility criteria include the criteria that candidates must meet to be eligible to fill out the SSC CPO application form. The following are the eligibility criteria for SSC CPO 2023:

SSC CPO 2023 Nationality

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India OR
  • A subject of Nepal OR
  • A subject of Bhutan OR
  • A candidate for whom a certificate of eligibility is required will be permitted for the examination, but the offer of appointment won’t be made until the Government of India has supplied the individual with the required eligibility certificate.

SSC CPO 2023 Age Limit

  • Candidates must be at least 20 years old and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2023.
  • SC/ST candidates will be given an age relaxation of 5 years.
  • OBC candidates will be given an age relaxation of 3 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen will be given an age relaxation of 3 years.

SSC CPO 2023 Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Candidates who, as of 30.08.2023 (or as the date specified in the notification), have not yet obtained the educational qualification but will do so must present documentary evidence from the Board or University in favour of their eligibility.

Note: On the day set for the physical endurance and measurement tests, male applicants for the position of SI in the Delhi Police must have a current LMV (motorcycle and car) driving licence. However, candidates without a valid LMV (motorcycle and car) driving licence are still eligible for all other positions.
