Bihar Board Class 11 Preparation Tips

Study Plan to Maximise Score

Class 11 exam preparation tips will help students in making a systematic study plan to complete the entire syllabus on time before the final examination and also revise all the chapters. This way, students will be able to score higher marks in their examinations. Have a look at these preparation tips created by experts at Embibe.

  • Study effectively without distractions: For a student of Class 11, it is very easy to get distracted while studying. It is advised to keep away from electronic gadgets and stay focused while studying. Even if you are studying with full concentration for a couple of hours, it is good. This is much better than spending long hours in front of the books without any concentration. We advise you to make it a habit. Subjects like Economics, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths require time and dedication for a student in Class 11. But also, try not to exhaust yourself in the process and take short breaks in between.
  • Make a study timetable: A study timetable will help you strategise your preparation for the examination. Making an effective study timetable and then following it with discipline is always helpful and it will keep you on track and away from stress.
  • Practice & learn: Practice exercises and learn the formulae for statistics as much as you can. Only daily practise and learning the formulae will help you top your Economics examination. Keep a rough notebook and practice all of your questions in that notebook. Practising daily will help you hone your problem-solving skills quickly and effectively.
  • Prioritise your chapters (Difficulty-level wise): Prioritising the chapters difficulty-level wise will help you prepare quickly and effectively for your exam. Try to cover the difficult topics first and then move forward to the ones you find easy. This way, you will not miss out on any important topic and will also be able to cover the syllabus on time along with doing the revision of each chapter.
  • Understand before you learn: Understanding and then learning will help you a lot in the examinations, as it is the most basic yet important parameter of exam preparation. It will help you understand the topics well.
  • Read thoroughly: It is important that you read all the chapters carefully so that you can understand the concept well. Because only after understanding the concept, you will be able to secure good marks in the examination. So, always read and understand thoroughly before you memorise it.
  • Revise every day: Make a habit of revising every day. This way, you will never forget any concept or formula. Each subject has different topics and each topic has its own concept, so, you need to learn and understand each of them very clearly. And a daily revision is the key to that.
  • Make short notes: Making short notes of the important formulae and concepts will help you memorise better and quicker. Notes in a bullet-point format can be of great help when you have less time and a lot of topics to revise before the examination.
  • Solve exercises from reference books: The class 11 reference books are designed according to the exam pattern. It can be a great way of practice by solving exercises from those textbooks. After each chapter, there is an exercise for students to solve. This helps them improve their problem-solving skills.
  • Take mock tests: Take mock tests at least thrice a week. This will improve your practice, speed and answer accuracy for Class 11 subjects. Mock tests are like a practice exam before the final examination. You can refer to Embibe’s mock test for free.

Paying attention to the basics will help students to cover the syllabus quickly and effectively. And also, they will still have time to revise thoroughly before the final exam. The students must focus on all the chapters to score higher marks in the examination. A word of advice, always mentions the stepwise process of the answer instead of just writing the answer directly. Follow these preparation tips by Embibe and you will see yourself passing the examination with high scores.

Bihar Board Class 11 Exam-taking Strategy

It is important that students understand the strategy to take semi or final examinations. The strategy is to understand the concept, the question, and then answer it carefully with logical justification. Also, it will be better if you first solve the questions that you find easy and then move on to solve the tricky ones.

  • Always read the instructions given on the exam question paper carefully.
  • Make sure to attempt all the questions.
  • Try to solve all the questions you think are easy for you to solve and then move to the difficult ones.
  • Answer the questions to the point. Simple and on point answers will surely get you good grades.
