CBSE Class 12 Important Questions: Physics
During the last minute preparation, it is quite helpful to solve important questions for every topic. Solving important questions gives you an idea of how the question paper might be and what topics to focus on more. At Embibe, students can find more than 1000 sample papers and 500+ mock tests for every chapter to have a strong hold on the topic. Let us witness a few important questions of Class 12 Physics.
Q.1: Define the term electric dipole moment of a dipole. State its S.I. unit
Ans: τ = OE sin θ
If E = 1 unit, θ = 90°, then τ = P
Dipole moment may be defined as the torque acting on an electric dipole, placed perpendicular to a uniform electric dipole, placed perpendicular to a uniform electric field of unit strength.
or Strength of the electric dipole is called the dipole moment.
|
P
→
|=𝑞|2𝑎|
∴ SI unit is Cm.
Q.2: Name the physical quantity whose S.I. unit is JC-1. Is it a scalar or a vector quantity?
Ans: Physical quantity whose S.I. unit JC-1 is Electric potential. It is a Scalar quantity.

CBSE Class 12 Important Questions: Mathematics
Given below are some important questions for CBSE Class 12 Mathematics. Students can use this as reference.
Q.1: Let R is the equivalence relation in the set A = {0,1, 2, 3, 4, 5} given by R = {(a, b) : 2 divides (a – b)}. Write the equivalence class [0].
Ans: Given, R = {(a, b):2 divides(a – b)}
and A = { 0,1, 2, 3, 4, 5}
Clearly, [0] = {b ∈ A : (0, b) ∈ R}
= {b ∈ A: 2 divides (0 – b)}
= {b ∈ A : 2divides (-b)} = {0, 2, 4}
Hence, the equivalence class of [0] = {0,2,4}.
Q.2: If f : R → R is defined by f{x) = 3x + 2, then define f[f(x)].
Ans: Given, f(x) = 3x + 2
f[f(x)] – f(3x + 2) = 3 (3x + 2) + 2
= 9x + 6+ 2= 9x + 8
