CTET Exam Dates 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has now released the CTET exam date on its official website. As per the official notice, CTET 2023 will be conducted on August 20, 2023. The CTET will be held offline, i.e., it will be a pen-paper (OMR) based exam. The eligibility test will be conducted in various cities across the country. The exam date has been mentioned in the official notification added below. The CBSE administers the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to determine candidates’ eligibility as primary (Class 1 to 5) and upper primary (Class 6 to 8) teachers. The Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam date will be released soon. Check the important dates from the table below:

How To Practice Questions on CTET Exam?

Know the steps to practice questions on CTET Paper 1 or 2 exams below:

  • 1st Step: Visit Embibe’s official website, i.e., embibe.com.
  • 2nd Step: Use the mobile number/email to log in.
  • 3rd Step: Click on the “Getting a Government Job” menu bar. 
  • 4th Step: Select the Goal “Teaching” from the Dropdown and click on “Next”.
  • 5th Step: Search and Select “CTET Paper 1 or 2” on the search bar and click on “Next”.
  • 6th Step: Select the preferred language and click on “Done”.
  • 7th Step: Click “Practice” from the Header Section.
  • 8th Step: Scroll down to the “Subjects” section.
  • 9th Step: Click on any CTET subjects.
  • 10th Step: Scroll down to click on the chapters from the selected subject to begin the practice.

CTET Application Date 2023

The CTET application form process started on April 27, 2023. Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 1000/- for the General and OBC candidates and INR 500/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates if they appear for Paper 1 or Paper 2. If any applicant appears for CTET Paper 1 and CTET Paper 2, the application fee for General/ OBC category candidates was INR 1200/-, and INR 600 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

CTET Admit Card Date 2023

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the CTET Admit Card 2023 on August 10, 2023. Candidates who completed the application process successfully can only download the Paper 1 or 2 admit card till the exam day. Moreover, CBSE released the admit card online on the official website – ctet.nic.in only, and no communication will be sent to the candidate’s residential address.

CTET Answer Key Date 2023

After completing the exam, CBSE will release the CTET Answer Key 2023. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download the key and check the CTET OMR sheet on the official website. CBSE provides an option to challenge the answer key. Applicants must pay a nominal fee and challenge the answer key with supporting documents on the official website. 

If required, the officials will scrutinize the challenge; the changes will be made in the final answer key. CBSE will release the final answer key along with the result.

CTET Result Date 2023

The CTET result date is yet to be announced by the conducting body. As per the result status, the candidates will receive an eligibility certificate. Earlier, the CTET certificate for teachers was valid for seven years, but now, it is valid for a lifetime.

The candidates who receive the CTET Certificate will be eligible for a getting teaching job in any government-authorised school throughout the country.
