CTET Exam Pattern 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the official notification for the CTET exam on October 31, 2022. As per the official notification, the CTET exam will be conducted from December 28, 2022, to February 7, 2023. Candidates who have successfully applied for the CTET exam must check the exam pattern for Paper 1 and 2 to make an effective study and preparation plan.

Candidates who want to teach from classes 1 to 5 must appear for the Paper 1 exam, and candidates who want to teach from classes 6 to 8 have to appear for the Paper 2. The Paper 1 exam will consist of 5 sections, whereas the Paper 2 will consist of 4 sections. To get all the details about the CTET exam pattern, continue to read this article till the end.
The CTET Paper 1 exam will consist of 5 sections, i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, the Paper 2 exam will comprise of 4 sections and they are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences.
The questions asked in the exam will be objective, meaning there will be multiple-choice questions. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marking. Paper 1 and Paper 2 have a composite time duration of 2.5 hours. There are two papers designed for CTET:
