JKCET Notification 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can go through the below-listed points to understand the JKCET 2023 eligibility criteria:

  1. Applicants are required to have qualified 10+2 or Higher Secondary examination or any such equivalent course from any registered board of the university.
  2. In the qualifying exam, the candidates should have Chemistry, English, Mathematics, and Physics as their primary subjects.
  3. The candidates are required to have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent of marks in their qualifying exams.
  4. The candidates’ age must not be less than 17 years as of December 31, 2022. The exam authorities do not specify the upper age limit.
  5. Candidates appearing in the 12th examination are also eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

Note: Please note that the qualifying marks for candidates in the reserved category are 40%.

JKCET Notification 2023: Exam Pattern

  1. Mode and Date of Exam: The entrance examination is to be held through offline mode, and the expected date will be in May last week.
  2. Duration: The total duration of the examination will be 180 minutes, i.e. 3 hours.
  3. Total Marks: The examination will be of altogether 180 marks, and each section will carry 60 marks.
  4. Total Questions: A total number of 180 questions will be asked in JKCET 2023. Each section will contain 60 questions.

JKCET 2023 Notification: Admit Card

The officials will release the JKCET admit card 15 days prior to the exam on the official website. Candidates who have successfully registered by submitting the JKCET 2023 application form will be able to download their hall ticket by entering their login credentials.
