KCET Application Form: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) reopened the registration window on May 11, 2023. Candidates who missed registering for the KCET 2023 exam must first fulfil all the eligibility requirements before submitting the KCET application form by May 13, 2023, before 6:00 p.m.

Karnataka CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

The KCET eligibility criteria state the parameters every candidate must meet to apply for the examination. According to KEA, candidates must fall under the following boundary:

  • Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC/12th Standard/equivalent exam.
  • Applicants must be Indian nationals.
  • Those who are waiting for their Class 12/ PUC exam results can also apply for KCET 2023.
  • Applicants who have passed their 12th standard or PUC or qualifying examination from Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) cannot appear for KCET 2023 exam.
  • Applicants should have studied English, Physics, and Maths as their compulsory subjects in Class 12 and have Chemistry/Biology/Electronics/Biotechnology or Computer Science as an optional subject.

B.E/B.Tech

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from the recognised board. 
  • Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. 
  • Candidates with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST category candidates) score in PCMB subjects.

B.Arch

  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from the recognised board. 
  • Candidates who scored at least 50% (45% for minority categories) are eligible for the KCET examination.
  • Candidates who had studied Mathematics as a subject. 
  • Candidates should have a valid scorecard.

B.V. Sc. A.H

  • Candidates who have passed the 10+2 Intermediate exam from a recognised board.
  • Candidates have scored 50% (45% score for reserved categories).
  • Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying exam. 

KCET Application Form: Documents Required

Applicants should keep some documents handy before filling out the KCET 2023 application form. The required documents for KCET application 2023 are as follows:

  • Valid mobile number and email ID
  • Debit card/Credit card/Net banking details
  • Details of Aadhaar card
  • Scanned images of signature, photograph, and left-hand thumb impression as per specifications by the authority

How to Fill Out KCET Application Form 2023?

The application form for KCET 2023 has been released online on the official website. Candidates can follow the steps below to know the KCET application process:

KCET 2023 Registration

The KCET registration process can be completed by following the steps mentioned below:

  • 1st Step: Visit the official website: kea.kar.nic.in.
  • 2nd Step: Click on Admissions and select UG CET 2023.
  • 3rd Step: On the new screen, click UGCET – 2023 Online Application Registration Link.
  • 4th Step: Click on the New User tab.
  • 5th Step: On the new screen, enter all the mandatory fields. Candidates who appear for their Class 12 examination must enter a 13-digit student number issued by the PUE department.
  • 6th Step: Click on the Submit button.
  • 7th Step: Now, the candidate will have to provide information such as their names, dates of birth, email ID, mobile number, security question, and security code and submit the details.
  • 8th Step: The KCET registration number will be generated after successful registration. The KCET application form number and User ID will be shared with the candidates on their registered email IDs and mobile numbers.

Candidates should keep this information safe with them. All further login to the official website will occur with this set of credentials.

Payment of KCET 2023 Application Fee

After filling in all the details in the KCET application form 2023, candidates need to pay the application fee. Candidates can pay their fees offline or in online mode through net banking/credit card/debit card. For the offline fee payment, candidates will have to download the e-challan and pay at the State Bank of India branches or ICICI Bank. Candidates must click on I agree and then click on Next to get to the application form fee payment page. Follow the below steps for fee payment:

  • 1st Step: Make the payment after downloading and taking the printout of the triplicate e-challan copy.
  • 2nd Step: The challan copy will comprise the candidate’s name, CET number, details of allotted college/course, amount, and bank account number.    
  • 3rd Step: Candidates need to make payments only at specified banks.
  • 4th Step: The bank will retain the bank’s copy and return the other two copies to the candidate. Furthermore, candidates are advised to reserve copies until they download the admit card.  

Note: The banks designated by KEA for fee payment include Indian Bank, State Bank of India, and State Bank of Hyderabad.

Important Points About KCET 2023 Application Form

The KCET application form needs to be filled with the following information: 

  • Candidates will receive an application ID and password to their registered email address after the completion of entry.
  • Candidates should separately upload the scanned copy of the recent passport-sized colour photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Take the printout of the challan copy and pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified banks. The bank will retain their copy and hand over the remaining copies.
  • Candidates can also pay the prescribed fee through net banking.
  • Take the printout of the application form on an A-4 size sheet of paper.
  • Affix a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression on the space provided.
  • Candidates have to take a printout of the application form once submitted and get it attested by the school principal or PU of the current school or by a gazetted officer. They will have to produce this attested application form at the time of KCET counselling 2023.
  • Candidates must produce the same copy and the copy of the challan (KEA copy) during the document verification process.

How to Retrieve KCET 2023 Application Number?

Candidates who cannot recall their application number should check their registered email address for it. If they are not able to find the application number in their inbox, they will have to contact the KCET official authorities at [email protected], or on the helpline number 080 – 23460460.

How to Retrieve KCET Password 2023?

Candidates will be able to retrieve their forgotten KCET password by following the given steps:

  • 1st Step: Go to the candidate portal of KCET 2023.
  • 2nd Step: Click on the Forgot Password.
  • 3rd Step: Click on Create New Password.
  • 4th Step: Enter details such as – KCET 2023 User ID, the application number, security question, answer, and security code.
  • 5th Step: Click on the Submit button.

KCET Application Form Correction 2023

KEA had re-opened the application window. The last date to complete the application form and pay the application fees for KCET 2023 will be on May 13, 2023. At present, KEA has provided the facility to candidates who have already submitted their application forms to correct them.

Candidates can log in to their account by using their User ID and Password and edit the details provided in the form by following the below steps:

  • Go to the official website of KCET 2023 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  • Click on Edit KCET Application.
  • Candidates have to enter their User IDs. The OTP will be generated and sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number.
  • Enter the One-Time Password (OTP).
  • Edit the details to be modified and click on the Submit button.
  • Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same.

KCET 2023 Admit Card

Candidates can download their admit cards from May 11, 2023, by entering their login credentials on the official website. KCET admit card will include details such as the name of the candidate, photograph, exam date, time, roll number, centre code, examination centre, and address. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre.
