KSEEB 2021: 10th Board Or SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Exam

Class 10th exam is the first milestone in the academic life of a student. Be it CBSE, ICSE, or any other state boards, all have one aim and that is to impart quality education. KSEEB conducts the SSLC Exam every year for its Class 10 students and nearly 8.5 lakh students take the exam every year.

The Board conducts the SSLC class 10 exam in March/April every year and reconducts the same examination in the month of June for students who fail to get through the examination. Around 2.20 lakh students take the SSLC supplementary examination.

KSEEB Karnataka Board PUC Exam

The Pre-University Course or the PUC is conducted for Classes 11 and 12. Class 11 is referred to as the 1st PUC and Class 12 board exams are known as the 2nd PUC. The KSEEB PUC board exam for Class 12 is conducted every year in the month of March.

KSEEB Syllabus

The syllabus for both the SSLC and PUC examinations is decided by the Karnataka Board keeping in mind the all-round development and learning skills of students. KSEEB Exam Material

The KSEEB has arranged resources for its students in the form of blueprints, previous year papers, model papers, etc. The resources or the materials come in handy for the students as they don’t have to waste their time searching for it. KSEEB Text Books

The Karnataka State Board along with providing the resource and exam material in the form of previous years and sample papers also provides books. These books are prepared and updated as per the latest exam pattern and the guidelines provided by KSEEB. The majority of students taking their PUC and SSLC exams rely on these books to score good marks in the board exams. These books are made available to students in various mediums for Class 1 to 10 subject-wise.

How To Download KSEEB Books?

To download KSEEB books for Class 1 to 10, follow the below-given steps:

  • – 1st Step: Visit the official website of Karnataka Textbook Society – ktbs.kar.nic.in/New/index.html/textbook.
  • – 2nd Step: On the home page, you will see three drop-down menus – choose Class, choose Medium, choose Subject. Select them as per your requirement.

KSEEB Exam Results

The results for both Class 12 and Class 10 are announced by the KSEEB on its official website. The SSLC results for 2021 are expected to release in the last week of July. Students who are going to appear for any of the exams can check their results from the official result website of Karnataka education board i.e. “karresults.nic.in”. The website contains the results of all the examinations conducted by the Board and students can view and download their results.

Quick Note: Students can also download the results from the official website by visiting the Exams section under SSLC Exam and Other Exam.

KSEEB 2020: Karnataka Open School (KOS) Exam

In addition to the regular exams, KSSEB also oversees Karnataka Open School (KOS) exams. The SSLC exams 2020 for KOS students were conducted earlier from July 5th to July 16, 2020. For 2021, the exam dates are yet to be announced by the officials. After the release of KOS results, KSEEB will conduct supplementary exams for KOS students. The officials have not released any notification regarding the result date yet.

Like the Karnataka SSLC result, KOS SSLC results will also be posted on the official website of KSEEB. We will also update this page with the result link. Thus, candidates are advised to bookmark this page for regular updates.

Karnataka School Quality Assessment And Accreditation Council (KSQAAC)

Karnataka School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) was formed in 2011. Its purpose is to identify the status of schools in the state and make efforts to improve the quality of education across all the schools in the state. Given below are the roles of KSQAAC:

  1. Examine the quality of education in the entire state of Karnataka.
  2. Create guidelines that are followed by the schools.
  3. Evaluate the schools for their performance and qualify them as a school of excellence.
  4. Conduct evaluation and verification through internal and external assessments.
  5. Provide feedback to schools after the evaluation process.
  6. Guide and facilitate the schools to develop strategies and corrective measures.

Digitalization Of KSEEB

Various steps have been initiated from the year 2017-18 to digitalize the whole examination process. The Registration process is online and even admission tickets and results are released online. The Board now uses an online portal for the declaration of results and marks of students from various centers. This process saves a lot of time and decreases human error. Results are also sent to the students through SMSs. Students can download the marks sheet using the DigiLocker app.

Karnataka State Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council is another major wing of KSEEB. The main task of KSQAAC is to assess the quality of education imparted at primary, higher primary, and secondary levels through State Achievement Surveys. This wing constantly enhances the quality of education imparted to students and works towards the benefit of the students.
