LIC ADO 2023 Exam Pattern

The LIC ADO exam pattern differs for candidates from the open market and LIC employees/agents. Candidates who clear their Mains examinations will be invited to an interview. The marks obtained in both the LIC ADO Mains exam and the LIC ADO Interview will be used to determine the final merit list of candidates.

LIC ADO Exam Pattern for Open Market Category

The online test for the Open Market category consists of two phases, i.e., Prelims and Mains. The LIC ADO exam pattern for both phases is provided here.

Phase 1: Prelims

The Prelims is objective. There are three sections in this phase having separate timings. The Reasoning and Numerical Ability sections will be in both English & Hindi.

LIC ADO Interview

Only those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks (both sectional and overall) in the Mains will be called for the interview process. Based on the number of vacancies, LIC reserves the right to fix the eligibility standards so as to restrict the applicants to be called for the interview and also decide on the minimum qualifying marks to qualify for the interview round. The maximum marks for the interview are 40 marks.

LIC ADO Medical Examination

LIC will conduct a medical examination so as to check the fitness of the shortlisted candidates. Only those candidates who are found fit after the medical examination will be appointed as Apprentice Development Officers.
