NIACL Assistant Mains Exam Analysis: Reasoning Section

The maximum questions were asked from Puzzles & Seating Arrangements. 3 to 4 sets of puzzles were asked from this section, and the total number of questions was 20. Therefore candidates must concentrate on the puzzle section if they want to score high in the reasoning section. 

The rest of the questions were asked about Syllogism, Inequality, Machine Input, Data Sufficiency, and Direction. Therefore candidates should practice these questions daily.

According to candidates who appeared for the exam, candidates who practice mock tests daily could solve them easily. Otherwise, those were tricky questions. Maintaining accuracy was one of the biggest challenges.

NIACL Assistant Mains Exam Analysis: Quantitive Aptitude Section

The quantitative aptitude section was moderate in nature. But some of the questions were a bit difficult. Check out the detailed exam analysis below.

While preparing for the exam, candidates must focus on the Data Interpretation section. That is because a total of 20 questions were asked from this section. They were Boat-stream based Graph DI, Caselet, Tabular DI, and Pie chart plus Table.

Apart from that, 5 to 6 questions were asked from each of these sections, including arithmetic, quantity comparison, data sufficiency, simplification, and wrong number series.

Some of the questions were difficult to crack. Therefore candidates must work on their basics. After that, they should start attempting complex problems as the basics must be cleared to solve the complex ones. Attempting mock tests is also a must to improve speed and accuracy.

NIACL Assistant Mains Exam Analysis: English Section

The most difficult part of NIACL Main English was the reading comprehension section. Two reading comprehensions were there, and a total of 10 to 12 questions were asked. Therefore candidates must read the editorial sections of a newspaper to improve their reading comprehension section along with vocabulary.

The other questions were asked from Cloze Test, Word Swap, Fillers, Match the following, Connectors, and Error spotting. 

The questions asked in these sections were not that tough. Candidates must concentrate on all these sections to score the overall cut-off.
