Descriptive Paper –
15 marks questions

10 marks questions

Objective Section –

There were 20 two-mark MCQ questions and 10 one-mark questions. One question from Pradhan Mantri Kishan Yojna, Financial Assistant, Labour Reforms, etc. was asked in a two-mark question. The OECD was asked for one paragraph. One question was asked on which organisation has forecasted India’s GDP.

Paper-2 English

There were Essay Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Precis Writing questions. The distribution of questions is mentioned below.

Paper-3
  • Paper 3 of the RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam included both descriptive and objective questions. 
  • The objective section contained 30 questions, and the total number of marks allotted to the test was 50. 
  • The time limit for completing the objective section was 30 minutes. 
  • In the descriptive section, six questions were asked, of which candidates had to answer four. Two questions were worth 15 marks each, and two were worth 10 marks each. 
  • This section was given a maximum of 50 points and had a time limit of 90 minutes.

  • What are Basel Norms? Discuss the three pillars of Basel norms in detail.

RBI Grade B 2021 Phase 1 Analysis by Students

  • Sanjay: The overall difficulty level of the paper is moderate. The reasoning was difficult, the math was moderate, and the English and GK were easy to moderate. Fill in the blanks, passage, error detection, and other questions were asked in English. In Quant, questions were asked about quadratic equations, data interpretation, and other topics. In Reasoning, students were asked questions about seating arrangements (both circular and linear), inequalities, and other topics.
  • Kunika: The tone of the paper was quite moderate. The GA questions were simple, and they were based on RBI policies. Tough Reasoning was simple, but time-consuming, with lengthy questions. The majority of the questions in Reasoning came from puzzles. The English were lengthy but simple. The quantitative section was challenging. Tuberculosis was the subject of the Reading Comprehension topic.

RBI Grade B 2021 Phase 2 Analysis by Students

  • Rockie: Overall, the RBI Grade B 2021 Phase 2 papers were easy. In comparison to last year, it was a breeze. Basel norms were the subject of questions in Paper III.
  • Piyush: The paper held in the morning was easy. The afternoon paper was a little difficult. Economics was difficult, as was the descriptive paper. In the descriptive paper, one question was asked about how globalisation has changed as a result of the financial crisis. The English were simple, with questions ranging from precis to reading comprehension. There were five reading comprehension questions.
