Every year Reserve Bank of India conducts the RBI Grade B Phase 1 Recruitment exam to recruit candidates for the position of Grade B officer. RBI Grade B Phase 1 eligibility criteria include educational qualification and age limit of the candidates. They must check out all these crucial details before applying for the exam.
Grade B (General): Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised board or university to appear for the exam.
Grade B (DEPR): Candidates willing to appear for the exam must have a postgraduate degree in Econometrics/ Economics/ Mathematical Economics/ Quantitative Economics/ Integrated Economics Course/ Finance from a recognised board or university.
Grade B (DSIM): Candidates willing to appear for the exam must have a postgraduate degree in Mathematical Statistics or Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics.
Candidates willing to appear for the Grade B Officer (General, DEPR & DSIM) exam must be between 21 years and 30 years.
Age relaxation is provided depending on the category of the candidate. They must wait for the official notification to check the age relaxation details.
The number of vacancies varies from one category to another. The vacancy details for 2023 have not been released yet by the authority. Last year there was a total number of 294 vacancies. The details are provided below.
