The RBI Grade B Syllabus 2022 for general includes four sections in the Prelims exam and three sections in the Mains exam and there is no fixed syllabus for the Interview exam. Besides Phase I and Phase II exams, an interview process is also conducted for candidates who qualify both phases of RBI Grade B Officer. The RBI Grade B Interview is out of 50 marks. Aspirants are shortlisted for the interview based on their aggregate marks in Phase II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III).
RBI decides the minimum aggregate cut off marks required for a candidate to be shortlisted for the interview depending on the number of vacancies. Roll numbers of candidates who are shortlisted for the interview round will be published on the RBI website. Furthermore, interview call letters will be sent to the registered email IDs of candidates.
A candidate has the option to attend the interview either in Hindi or English. Final Selection will be announced in the form of a merit list prepared from the aggregate of the marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.
Candidates should also go through the exam pattern along with the syllabus. The RBI Grade B Mains exam is out of a total of 300 marks. The Phase II examination comprises 2 papers (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III). Separate Admission Letters will be issued for each shift and it is mandatory for aspirants to attend all the shifts. The Phase-II online examination is conducted only for those candidates shortlisted on the basis of Phase-I results and cut-offs decided by RBI.

Both Paper I and III contain 30 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. In both sections out of the 100 marks, 50 marks for Objective questions (some questions carrying 2 marks each and some carrying 1 mark each) and 50 for the descriptive questions.
In the case of Descriptive questions, there are 6 questions, of which candidates should attempt 4 questions (2 of 15 marks each (with difficulty level) and 2 of 10 marks each). If a candidate answers more than 4 questions in descriptive, only the first 4 shall be evaluated.
