The selection process for SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff consists of two stages, i.e.,
Candidates have to clear both stages to qualify for the Document Verification round. Furthermore, they must produce original as well as photocopies of documents or certificates at the time of Document Verification. Candidates who obtain scores in SSC MTS Paper I equal to or above the cut-off marks qualify for Paper II. SSC MTS Paper II is a descriptive type exam which is conducted in pen and paper mode. Candidates must note that Paper II is qualifying in nature and is intended to test elementary language skills. However, the marks of Paper II will be used to decide rank in case of a tie in Paper I.
