SSC MTS Selection Process 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) prescribed the selection procedure for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in its official notification. The notification has been released on January 18, 2023. The selection process includes a Computer Based Examination (CBE) & Document Verification (DV). Candidates can check the recruitment process by visiting the official website at ssc.nic.in.

 **Steps to practice SSC MTS Tier 1 unlimited questions are mentioned below.

They must be familiar with all stages of the selection process to ace the exam easily. The CBT exam will be conducted from May 02 to 19, 2023 and June 13 to 20, 2023. There is an additional stage for the post of Havaldar, which is a Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test. Read on to know more.

SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process

The SSC Multi Tasking 2023 selection process has been opened for 10th-pass candidates. To be eligible for the next stage of the recruitment process, applicants must pass the following stage: 

Stage 1: Computer-Based Examination
Stage 2: Document Verification

Applicants will be disqualified from the recruitment process if they fail to pass any of the abovementioned stages. However, the recruitment process for the post of Havaldar will consist of CBE & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). Scroll down to get detailed selection criteria.

SSC MTS Selection Stage 1: Tier 1 (CBE)

As per the latest notification, the first stage of the SSC MTS selection process is the computer-based examination. It will be conducted in two sessions, i.e., Session 1 and Session 2. Both sessions will be mandatory to be attempted. In Session 2, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer, but there will be no negative marking in Session 1. How To Practice Questions on the SSC MTS Tier 1 Exam?

Know the steps to practice questions on the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam below:

  • 1st Step: Visit Embibe’s official website, i.e., embibe.com.
  • 2nd Step: Use the mobile number/email to log in.
  • 3rd Step: Click on the menu bar “Getting a Government Job”. 
  • 4th Step: Select the Goal “SSC” from the Dropdown and click on “Next”.
  • 5th Step: Search and Select “SSC MTS Tier I” on the search bar and click on “Next”.
  • 6th Step: Select the preferred language and click on “Done”.
  • 7th Step: Click “Practice” from the Header Section.
  • 8th Step: Scroll down to the “Subjects” section.
  • 9th Step: Click on any SSC MTS Tier I subjects.
  • 10th Step: Scroll down to click on the chapters from the selected subject to begin the practice.

SSC MTS Selection Stage 2: DV

After the SSC MTS 2023 result is released, the Commission will issue admit card to the qualified applicants for the final round of the selection process, i.e., the Document Verification (DV). The list of documents that candidates must present during the document verification round is given below:

  • Aadhaar card/ printout of e-aadhaar.
  • Voter card.
  • PAN card.
  • Passport.
  • Driving license.
  • Government school/ college ID card.
  • Employer ID
  • Matriculation certificate.
  • Educational qualification certificate.
  • Order/ letter in respect of equivalent educational qualifications claimed, indicating the authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of equivalent clauses in essential qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as an equivalent qualification.  
  • Caste or category certificate if it belongs to reserved categories. 
  • Persons with disabilities certificate in the required format, if applicable.
  • Relevant documents in the case of ex-serviceman.
  • Relevant certificate if seeking any age relaxation.
  • No objection certificate, in the case, of already employed in government/ government undertakings.

SSC MTS Havaldar PET & PST

The physical tests will be conducted for the post of Havaldar for both male and female candidates. The conducting authority will use this test to determine whether or not the candidates are physically fit. The following are the minimum physical requirements:
