The CBT will consist of a total of 200 marks spread over 4 sections.
The total time duration of the examination will be one hour (60 minutes).
2 marks will be awarded for each right answer.
There will be a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer.

The commission will conduct Skill Tests like Typing Test, Data Entry Test, Computer Proficiency Test, etc., wherever prescribed. These tests will be qualifying in nature.
There will not be any interview round for the SSC Selection Post – Higher Secondary Level selection. The selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test.
Candidates qualifying in the CBT will then be called for Document Verification in the following ratio in accordance with the vacancies of the particular category of post: (a) In the ratio of 1:20, for up to 5 vacancies for any category of posts. (b) In the ratio of 1:10, for more than 5 vacancies for any category of posts, subject to minimum 100.
