SBI PO Sample Paper: The State Bank of India will conduct its annual SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam tentatively in the month of April 2022. The SBI PO Exam is conducted in 3 stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam

Preliminary Exam Pattern

  • The preliminary exam will consist of a total of 100 marks spread over 3 sections.
  • The total time duration of the examination will be one hour.
  • The cut-off time for each section will be 20 minutes.
  • 1 mark will be awarded for each right answer.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Mains Exam Pattern

  • Candidates who successfully clear the SBI PO Preliminary Exam are only eligible to attend the Mains Exam.
  • The Mains exam will consist of one objective type test and another descriptive type test.
  • The Objective test will include a total of 155 questions over 4 sections.
  • The time duration for this Objective test will be 2 hours.
  • There will be sectional time cut-off for the descriptive test.
  • Negative marking of -0.25 marks implies here as well.
  • The Descriptive test will include 2 questions to be completed in a duration of 30 minutes.
  • The descriptive test will be held right after the objective test.
