Candidates who are not able to secure their seats in the COMEDK colleges in the top 10 ranks will still be able to make it to the top 20 engineering colleges under COMEDK if they meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

• The candidate should have passed 2nd PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or an equivalent exam.
• The candidate should have passed the above-mentioned exams with PCM and English as a compulsory subjects.
• He/she should have qualified for the above exams with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category of Karnataka state).  
• The candidate should be a citizen of India.
