Exam Brief
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UPSEE BHMCT. This exam has been renamed the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) which is a state-level examination conducted for admission to the course Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in certain colleges affiliated with AKTU, Lucknow.

- Go through the complete syllabus and exam pattern of the UPSEE BHMCT 2022 Examination.

Previous Year Papers
UPCET (UPSEE BHMCT 2022) Question Papers 2022 along with official answer keys will be published by AKTU (Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) on the official website. Along with the answer keys, the authority will also release the question paper analysis on the website itself.
Student Counselling
The UPSEE BHMCT selection process usually starts right after the result announcement. Candidates must report themselves at the centre of the exam to select their preferred centre. The counselling process commences a week after the announcement of the result.
Candidates must bring all the required documents to the counselling centre, such as UPSEE BHMCT 2022 scorecard, 2 Passport Size Photographs, and Govt. Validated ID Proofs (Aadhar card, voter id, passport), Migration Certificate if applicable, Category Certificate if applicable, Original and xerox copies of academic mark sheet from class 10 till graduation.
UPSEE BHMCT Stepwise Selection Process
- Register yourself by paying counselling fees and uploading the required documents to the official website.
- Verify your documents and fill in the choices in keeping with your preferences.
- Wait for the seat allotment result.
- Confirm your seats.
- Report to the colleges as per the schedule.
After the completion of the counselling process, candidates will have to report to the allotted college with a provisional admission/ allotment letter.
Candidates also have to bring the remaining fee & all relevant documents (Original & one set of self-attested photocopies). It will be compulsory to pay the remaining admission fee to confirm their seat and admission. Otherwise, the seat will be allotted to another candidate.
Candidates will get a seat allotted and get admission to the selected institution, the fee submitted by them during counselling, without any deduction will be adjusted against the institution fee.

Dos and Donts of Form Filling
Candidates are required to apply for the UPSEE BHMCT exam through the online mode only via the official website of UPSEE. The application forms must be submitted within the given period of time. The application form is self-explanatory and has necessary instructions wherever required. However, we have also jotted down the detailed process for complete information on the application. Follow the step-by-step guide to fill out the application form:
- Visit the official UPSEE website – https://upcet.nta.nic.in/
- Click on the link for applying for the UPCET 2022 Exam.
- Proceed with the registration process and provide details such as name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name, domicile, mobile number, address, email ID, etc., provide details of your qualifying exam, course applied for, choose the examination centre, and complete other details in the form.
- You will be asked to choose a security question and a password while filling out the form. Keep the password safe till the admission process gets over.
- Once you have completed all the details, check them carefully before final submission.
- After the final submission, an application number will be generated. Note it down for later use. The application number and the password are your login credentials for accessing your UPSEE profile for checking the admit card, result, etc.
- Now the next step is to upload the scanned images of your passport size photograph (in JPEG format with a maximum file size of 100 KB) and signature (in JPEG format with a maximum file size of 30 KB). Upload the scanned images to their designated fields and save them to proceed to the final stage of the application process.
- After the candidates upload the images, they will be redirected to the fee payment page. Select the mode of payment and make the fee payment as per the category.
- On successful payment, download the confirmation page and take a print of the same. Please don’t send the hard copy/soft copy of the confirmation page to the exam conducting authority.
- In case the application fee transaction fails, candidates must make another transaction and the amount of failed transaction will be credited automatically to your account
The application fee for the examination can be submitted online through credit card/ debit card/net banking. Additional transaction charges are to be paid by the candidate.

Dos:
- Candidates must review all the information provided before submitting the form.
- Candidates must ensure all the information is furnished correctly in the application form.

- There is an application correction window opened for the correction of forms. After the completion of the correction window, no further corrections facility in the application will be allowed, so try and complete it then itself.

Age Criteria
Below we have mentioned the criteria that must be met by candidates before they proceed with the application process. The candidates must go through the following before they apply for UPSEE BHMCT 2022 to make sure they are eligible to apply:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed intermediate of UP Board or 10 + 2 or equivalent from any recognized board/ university.
- Marks Required: Students should have obtained at least 45% without grace in their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. For SC/ST students, the qualifying percentage is 40% in aggregate.
- Domicile: Candidates should meet the domicile requirements of the state.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for UPSEE BHMCT 2022
- Nationality: Indian/NRI/FN/PIO candidates and Kashmiri migrants will be eligible to apply for the UPSEE BHMCT entrance exam
Note: There is no compulsory subject requirement to apply for the UPSEE BHMCT 2022 exam.
Admit Card Release Date
The admit card will be released on the official website by the NTA (National Testing Agency) in the second week of June 2022. It is important for the candidates to carry the valid Admit Card to the test centre, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
This document can be downloaded online from the official website when it is made available. Candidates will have to login in to download the admit card and take a printout of the same, as it is to be carried to the exam center on the test day.
UPSEE BHMCT Exam Answer Key/Solution 2022 – Live
The Exam Answer Key will be made live on the official website after the authority conducts the exam successfully. The answer key can be downloaded from the website and candidates can make use of it to predict their scores.
The exam solutions are usually not released by the exam authority but for exceptional cases, they might release the solutions for specific questions.
Expected Cut-off
The cut-off for the exam will be released by the conducting authority online. The authorities will release the category-wise cut off marks for shortlisting the candidates for the counselling procedure.
Candidates will have to score more than the mentioned cut-off marks to be eligible for further counselling and other admission procedures. Candidates will be able to check the complete cut-off marks on the official website.
Result Declaration
Students will be able to check the UPSEE BHMCT 2022 result online on the official website. The UPSEE Result will tentatively be declared on the website during the last week of September 2022.
Also, the authorities will prepare a separate merit list and normalization and tie-breaking criteria will be applicable in case the candidates secure the same marks. The candidates can also scrutinize the answer sheets but to do the same they will have to make a payment of Rs. 5000/- per paper within 7 days of the release of the result.
Candidates who have qualified for the exam can participate in the counselling process. It will be organized virtually as of now, this might change due to change in Covid-19 protocols and restrictions.
