How to Choose CAT Test Centres?

Candidates who are filling the application form for CAT 2022 can select six test centres. Moreover, they need to choose test centres as per their preferences while filling the application form. CAT test centres will be allotted based on city preferences filled during the registration. The process of choosing CAT exam centres is listed below:

  • Candidates must visit the official website to register for CAT 2022.
  • Create a login ID and register on the website and fill the online application form.
  • While filling the application form, candidate will reach a tab of exam centres “select test city”.
  • Here candidate will have to select 6 cities as per the preference. The city mentioned first will be the most preferred and the last filled city means least preferred.
  • After this, the candidate must fill the rest of the field by themselves and make a payment of the exam fee to submit the application form.

Test cities will be mentioned on the CAT website, and the details of the test centre will be shown on the admit card. Exam Day Guidelines to be Followed at CAT Exam Centre

Aspirants who have successfully filled the application form must check the exam day guidelines:

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the gate gets closed.
  • Carry the admit card, and the required documents along to the exam centre.
  • The candidate’s primary reference identity is the application number.

Do’s for Candidates

  • CAT admit card must be carried.
  • The candidate must fix the photograph in the space provided on CAT admit card.
  • The candidate must carry the admit card along with identity proof.
