Magnets are widely used in various day-to-day applications. Magnets have a special property to attract a few metals such as Iron, Nickel, and Cobalt. Thus, materials can be classified as magnetic materials that get attracted to a magnet and non-magnetic materials that do not get attracted to a magnet.
