One of the significant changes that GSHSEB has made this year is the increment of objective-type questions from 10% to 30%. Also, there is a reduction of 10% in the descriptive section, too — i.e., .from 30% to 20%.
Now, Science students of Class 12 have the option of taking one of all the supplemental exams (usually conducted in June or July). The best of these two will be considered final.
Students from General stream will get the opportunity of taking two courses in the compartment exams — rather than just one.
An overall of 50% of MCQs from the Science steam are now retained by the board; however, the remaining 50% of descriptive questions remain unchanged. Students will not be entertained any internal choices; rather, they will be provided with choices and general options with the question paper.
