The university conducted the June term-end examinations also known as TEE at more than 700 examination centers. Social distancing guidelines were followed in these examination centers to ensure the health and safety of the students.
IGNOU Result Release Date 2020
Generally, IGNOU releases the Term End Exam result within 45 days from the completion of the exam. First, the IGNOU Early Declaration Result is declared within 30 days from the exam then the result is declared for every candidate. IGNOU Grade Card 2021
The IGNOU Grade Card is also available along with the result. Students can download their IGNOU Grade Card from the same official website i.e. ignou.ac.in. They need to select the program and enter the enrollment number in order to download IGNOU grade card.

Revaluation After IGNOU Term End Result
IGNOU June TEE Revaluation started on October 28, 2020. IGNOU revaluation process will start within 1 or 2 days from the result date. Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for photocopies of answer booklets, revaluation of marks of IGNOU December 2020 TEE examinations.
The “Online Application for Re-evaluation of Answer Script” has to be filled and submitted in order to apply for re-evaluation. Students can also demand photocopies of answer scripts before applying for revaluation or simultaneously. The photocopies of the answer booklets will be provided by the concerned REC if the answer script has not been processed for Re-evaluation.

IGNOU Revaluation Result 2021
The IGNOU Revaluation Result will be declared within 1 month. It will be available on the official website i.e. ignou.ac.in> Results> Revaluation. Students will also get the status of revaluation results on their personal Email ID.
IGNOU Improvement Exam
If the student is not satisfied with their scores then he or she can appear for the improvement exam. Students who have completed the Bachelor/Master program and wish to improve their Division/Class can apply for IGNOU improvement exam. The improvement exam is conducted only for the theory papers.
Eligibility Required:
Students who have scored 2% marks less than the marks required to secure the First/Second Division in Bachelor’s/Master’s program are eligible to appear for Improvement Exam.
IGNOU Back Papers
If you have failed in any first-year paper then you can re-appear for the exam and clear the back papers in the next 2 years. In order to apply for the back papers, the candidate needs to fill the application form. The application form will be made available at the official website i.e. ignou.ac.in.
IGNOU gives 8 years (for UG) and 5 years (for PG) to clear the backlogs. Note that the candidates will not have to resubmit the assignments if they have already submitted them in the previous year.

Key Points Regarding IGNOU Grade Card
Students must also be aware of the following points regarding IGNOU Result (Grade Card):
- The marks obtained in assignment and theory is multiplied into 2. For example, if the student has obtained 40 then it is mentioned as 80 in the mark sheet.
- The IGNOU Grade Card will be available in online mode only.
- The grade card for all the streams such as MCA, BCA, MP, etc. will be available on the official website.
- Scores will be calculated from TEE theory marks, TEE practical marks, and assignments.
IGNOU also provides an option for declaring the result soon than before. This option is only provided to final year students under some circumstances. The circumstance can be like the student getting selected for any post or higher studies which requires the IGNOU Result to be released earlier than the scheduled date of IGNOU Result.
So in such circumstances candidates can go for Early Result. Candidate has to fill the application form of IGNOU early declaration result and send it to the concerned evaluation centre before the exam starts. The required fee for the same is Rs. 1000 per course.
Promotion Of Students For IGNOU June 2019-20 session
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has approved the promotion of students of intermediate year/semester students of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the June 2019-20 session amid the pandemic.
IGNOU has further stated that this provision for exemption from TEE (June 2020) for intermediate semester/year students is only applicable to the students registered/re-registered in academic session (2019-20) as per the following details:
