JEE Main & NEET 2021 Syllabus To Be Revised?, Check Here

Bangalore 27, November 2020: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has asked the conducting body – National Testing Agency for revising the syllabus of JEE Main and NEET and other competitive exams to be held in the academic year 2021. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will first analyze the situation across the different states of the country as well as the central school education boards.

A campaign would be launched by the Education Ministry of India to seek views from students, parents & teachers as to when and how to conduct board exams in the year 2021. Due to the commotion caused by COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and various other state boards have also decided to reduce the Class 10 and 12 syllabus at least by 30 per cent this year.

New Syllabus For JEE & NEET 2021

The Education Ministry shared a news on JEE Main & NEET 2021 Syllabus To Be Revised – “It was decided that National Testing Agency will come out with the syllabus for competitive examinations after assessment of the existing scenario in various boards. It was also decided that a campaign would be launched by the Education Ministry to seek views from students, parents and teachers on how and when to conduct the exams next year”.

Earlier this week, the officials of National Testing Agency had announced that the JEE Main 2021 first session is preferable to be held in February rather than January. Various other competitive exams are also likely to be delayed by a month. The JEE Main 2021 notification is expected to release soon and the registration is expected to begin in the month of December.

However, the officials have not confirmed anything on NEET 2021 yet. As per the reports, NEET 2021 will also be delayed.

When Will The CBSE & Other Board Exams Be Conducted?

According to the board secretary, Anurag Tripathi – CBSE and other board exams will certainly be held next year and the schedule will also be released shortly. However, he did not disclose whether the exams will be conducted in the same format or will it be postponed.

Maharashtra & Gujarat state officials have already announced the postponement of board exams in the year 2021.

Apart from this, the Education Minister has also directed the University Grants Commission (UGC) to ensure that all the scholarships, fellowships to be disbursed in time.
