JKCET Exam 2025Centres – Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test, better known as JKCET, is a state-level exam. JKCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
If you aspire to appear in the JKCET 2025, you might wonder if you’re eligible for the entrance exam or what qualifications you need to apply for the JKCET 2025 examination.
In a nutshell, an applicant has to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates should have a domicile certificate of UT (union territory) of Jammu & Kashmir issued by the competent authority or an ST certificate issued by the competent authority of UT of Ladakh be treated as Domicile certificate of UT of Ladakh.
Applicants must have passed Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent examination from any registered board or university.
Candidates must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics as primary subjects for admission to B.E/B.Tech. Engineering Courses.
Candidates appearing in the 12th examination or awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the entrance examination, given such candidates have qualified for their 12th examination at the time of declaration of the JKCET result.
Applicants must have achieved at least 50% of the marks in their qualification examinations.
The candidates applying for the JKCET exam should be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of that year. There is no upper age limit for both Government and Private Colleges.
Applicants who apply under the TFW category are open merit applicants. Hence, they must fulfil the eligibility requirements for open merit applicants.
Note: The candidates belonging to the reserved category must have achieved at least 40% of the marks in their qualification examinations.

The JKCET examination will take place in the JKCET exam centres: 15 centres in Srinagar and 6 centres in Jammu. All the candidates will get the choice to select their JKCET exam centres while filling out their JKCET application form.

Step 2: Make fee payment of JKCET application form 2025

All candidates will have to make a payment of INR 1200 as an application fee which they can pay through Credit Card, Debit Card, and Net Banking as per their convenience. Candidates must note that there will be no relaxation of the reserved category on the application fee.
