Study Plan to Maximise Score

Study Plan to Maximise Score

Preparation Tips

  • A detailed strategy and a study plan is a must to obtain good marks in the examination.
  • One should be aware of their strengths and weaknesses and should do their preparations accordingly. Start early and always keep a positive attitude.
  • For chapters involving calculations, try practising the numericals as much as possible. For example, Mathematics has problems based on many calculations; hence, it is better to practice and solve them on paper.
  • If you are finding any difficulty while studying the 6th MBSE syllabus, we at Embibe are here to help you. You can always use our platform for learning complex concepts and solving difficult problems.
  • Always follow a practically possible timetable so that you can study every day without putting extra pressure on yourself.
  • Whenever you are confused, don’t hesitate to ask your doubts to your teachers or elders, or you can even use the embibe. They can answer all of your questions.
  • Try taking an interest in each subject so that you won’t be bored and feel the burden of studying them.
  • Always keep in mind that nothing is impossible. The word itself suggests that I’m possible.
  • Try to study daily to finish all the topics before the examination, don’t leave a lot to be covered just before the examination.

Exam Taking Strategy

  • Finish studying and revising the entire syllabus well in advance.
  • Stay calm and be on time for examinations so that you have a moment to relax and you can avoid the last-minute rush.
  • Strategise how to use the allotted exam time efficiently.
  • Don’t stress out, and try keeping a positive attitude and attempt the examination with confidence and try to answer as many questions as you can.
  • Don’t waste too much time reading and answering questions which you are not sure about
  • Rather than answering the questions in the given order, you can first write the answers for the questions you are confident about and then attempt the questions you are not thorough with.
  • Be careful with the question numbers and make sure they are marked correctly in the answer sheets.
  • Try not to leave any questions unanswered. You can write the given data and the possible steps for the questions you are unsure about.
  • Make sure that you have read all the instructions before starting to answer the exam.
  • Listen to all the guidelines given by the invigilator during the time of examination.
  • Before giving the answer sheets to the invigilator, make sure the numbering of each question is correct and you have put your name and roll number correctly.

Detailed Study plan

  • A detailed study plan is a well-structured plan created by students listing their learning goals as well as the study time.
  • It is better to create a timetable for studying each day. Spend four to five hours each day by yourself in studies in a well-planned manner.
  • If you are studying mathematics, you definitely need a pen and paper to write and practice the mathematical problems.
  • While studying every subject, connect them to real-life situations. This will help you to remember every concept in an easier manner.
  • Embibe has created interesting videos and practice sessions on all the class 6 MBSE topics, and if you need a better understanding of all the concepts, you can use them.

Exam Counselling

Exam counselling

Student Counselling

The Student Counselling Cell’s major goal is to assist students in overcoming anxiety and stress and developing their full potential. A student can openly and easily address challenges in the counselling cell. Counselling helps students to explore their inherent strength. The exam is a part of school education where students are evaluated based on scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

  • It is important to pay attention during the ongoing classes from day one.
  • Preparing a well-organised study plan with a proper timetable is important for effective studies.
  • More time should be allocated for the subjects you feel are difficult.
  • Class notes should be revised regularly.
  • You should seek advice from teachers, peer groups, friends, or parents to clarify your doubts.
  • The environment at your school and home also plays an important role in your performance.

Parent/Gaurdian counselling

Parent counselling is very helpful in resolving issues and concerns about the child’s condition. Substance abuse is usually the most concerning issue for parents, whereas mental health and bullying are the most concerning issues for teenagers. Parent counselling equips you with the skills to recognise concerns that your child may be experiencing and the communication skills to assist your child without humiliating them for seeking assistance. As a parent, do not compare your child with others because every child learns differently.
Parent Counselling mainly aims to encourage positive behaviour, manage undesirable behaviour, and understand the emotional needs of children. This can be done by one or by both parents. Parent counselling helps parents cope with different types of difficulties that affect their children and also help them provide proper guidance, tools, and necessary knowledge. It also aims to make parents more aware of the career opportunities that are available for their children in the near future.
