NTSE Exam Date: National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is an offline scholarship exam that is conducted for Class 10 students. This exam is administered by the National Council of Educational Research and Training with the sole purpose of finding talented students who are interested in pursuing education in science and social science. NTSE 2021 is conducted by NCERT at two stages. All states and UTs are responsible for conducting the Stage 1 exam whereas the Stage 2 exam will be conducted by NCERT at the national level exclusively to students who pass the Stage 1 exam. The main aim of the NTSE scheme is to provide financial assistance to students who wish to pursue education in Science and Social Studies stream.
State-level authorities are releasing NTSE application form 2021-22 for the stage 1 exam. On the official website of NCERT, NTSE 2021 stage 2 exam date has been announced. NTSE 2021 exams will be held via offline mode on January 16, 2021, for some states. Interested students can check the state-wise NTSE exam dates on the official website. NTSE Exam Registartion Date 2021
The registration form of NTSE 2021 was issued in October 2021. All eligible candidates can apply for the NTSE 2021 registration through the official website. The last date to apply for the NTSE 2021 varies from state to state. To fill the registration form of NTSE 2021 candidates needs to fill in the details like their name, gender, caste, date of birth, mobile number, family income, academic details, etc. The candidate’s scanned sign and photo are also required to fill the registration form of NTSE 2021.
NTSE Admit Card Date 2021
The admit card of NTSE 2021 is issued before 7 to 10 days of the exam date. NTSE Stage 1 admit card 2021 will be released in January 2022 on various dates depending on the state. Some states will release NTSE admit card 2021 via online mode on the official website. Students will be able to collect NTSE Stage 1 admit card 2021 from the school authorities too. NTSE Exam Date 2021
Mizoram, Nagaland, Andaman & Nicobar, Meghalaya, all other states, and Union Territories took part in NTSE 2021 stage 1 in January 15, 2022, and West Bengal, Bihar, Kerala, and Karnataka took part on January 23, and Telangana and HP took part on January 23, 2022.
NTSE Answer Key Date 2021
The answer key of NTSE 2021 will be announced by the exam conducting body 5 to 7 days within the conclusion of the exam. Candidates will be able to calculate their marks with the help of the NTSE 2021 answer keys. The exam conducting body will release the NTSE 2021 answer keys after the exam date. The result of NTSE 2021 will be announced after the issue of the final answer keys of NTSE 2021 on the official website of the exam conducting body.
NTSE Exam Result Date 2021
The result of NTSE 2021 is expected to be issued at the official website of the exam conducting body. To download the result candidates have to provide their application number and date of birth. The result will include the marks scored by candidates in each subject, the exam qualifying status of the candidate, roll number, and name, etc.
Many states provide the NTSE Result as a merit list, which contains the names of all candidates who were shortlisted. Others provide all participants’ NTSE results as well as a separate merit list. Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Punjab and some of the remaining states and UTs and for Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Kerala, and Karnataka, and Telangana and HP.
NTSE Selection Process & Rewards
The stage-I exam is a state-level exam that is held in all Indian states and union territories, whereas the stage-II exam is a national-level exam that will be offered for students who complete stage-I. The Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) are the two examinations that comprise the NTSE exams (SAT). Additionally, students who clear both stage-I and stage-II will be eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded depending on students’ overall achievement in stages I and II.
As previously stated, the NTSE scholarship is given to students who pass both stages of the exams at various levels of their studies. Apart from the monetary rewards, students also enjoy other benefits.
Every month, scholarships will be granted to the outstanding students who have been shortlisted after passing both phases. Only the top 1000 students have a chance to get this award, and NCERT provides the merit list. The scholarship is awarded to students at various levels of their education:
