The must awaited exam dates for stage 2 NTSE students are out. The National Council of Education and Research Training have announced the stage 2 exam dates through a public notice through its website. The exam date is 8th May 2016, Sunday for all the states and union territories. The notice was signed on 2nd March 2016.
National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship program for the students of Class X. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts this exam every year. Every year,5 lakh students appear for this exam out of which 1000 are awarded the scholarship. The exam is conducted in two stages. Students who qualify Stage I can appear for Stage II and students who qualify Stage II can apply for the scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1250 per month for students of Class XI and XII.
