NTSE Registration

The National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) has postponed the NTSE 2021-22 Stage 1 and 2 exams because of certain administrative reasons. The new exam dates will be announced shortly. The state-level exam conducting authorities or the SCERTs have released the NTSE Registration forms 2021-22 in online and offline mode. NTSE application forms for the states of Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Nagaland and Himachal Pradesh are out. For certain states, the entire NTSE 2021 Registration is conducted online. So students need to fill the form in online mode. However, some states still follow the offline NTSE registration process. Students will need to fill and submit the NTSE application form 2022 before the last date. The last date to submit the NTSE 2021 registration form may vary from state to state. The NTSE exam is conducted in two stages: stage-I and stage-II.

The application process is open for NTSE 2022 stage 1 only. Those who qualify NTSE stage 1 2022 exam will be qualified to attend the NTSE stage 2 exam, which will be conducted on June 12, 2022. NTSE Exam Registration 2021: Highlights

  1. Students need to download the NTSE form 2021 from the official website of NTSE.
  2. They have to submit asked documents as well while submitting the NTSE 2021 application form.
  3. The NTSE stage 1 exams are expected to be conducted in December 2021. Whereas the stage 2 exams are expected to be held in June 2021.

NTSE Registration 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who want to sit for the NTSE 2021-22 would have to abide by the following eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities. If an applicant does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, they will not be considered for admission. Go ahead with the NTSE registration only if you find yourself eligible for the exam

For School Students

School students opting for NTSE registration should be appearing for the 10th class exam from a recognized school or have applied for the 10th class through open learning. The age of the students should be less than 18 years and they should have cleared all exams from class 1 to class 10.

How to Fill NTSE Application Form 2021?

The below-steps are to be followed while filling the NTSE registration form 2021:

  • – 1st Step: From the following table and click on on the NTSE State you belong to.
  • – 2nd Step: Click on the link that reads “Apply for NTSE 2021-22.”
  • 3rd Step: If it is an online application form, enter all the necessary details such as  “Name”, “Date of birth”, “Contact Number”, “Email ID”, etc.
  • 4th Step: Click on the “Submit” button.
  • 5th Step: Upload all the necessary documents and Process the Application fee. Download the NTSE Application acknowledgment Form for further reference.
  • If the application form in offline mode, then move to the 6th Step directly.

  • – 7th Step: Now, fill in your “Personal”, “Educational”, and “Residential” details in your own handwriting.
  • – 8th Step: Affix your “Photograph” and put your “Signature” in the space provided.
  • – 9th Step: You are required to get the NTSE 2021 application form attested from your principal.
  • – 10th Step: Candidates need to pay the application fee in person i.e offline to the respective school authority. There is no registration fee for the NTSE level 2 exam. Registration fee varies from state to state.

Photograph Specification For NTSE Registration

Applicants affixing their photograph should make sure that the colored photograph should not be older than 6 months from the date of form filling. The photograph must have a dark background. They should not wear goggles but only simple spectacles in the photo. Female applicants should not wear makeup in the photograph clicked and hair must be properly tied. The photograph for the NTSE registration form should be in the school uniform.
