NTSE Registration 2019: The National Talent Search Examination or NTSE is a national-level scholarship program in the country that identifies students with high intelligence and excellent academic talent. NTSE 2019-20 will be conducted in two stages namely state level and national level. The NTSE registration for Stage-1 will be open from the month of August 2019 tentatively. Where NTSE Stage-2 will not require any registration, qualified candidates from Stage-1 will appear for Stage-2. NTSE exam date for Stage- 1 will be on November 2, 3, 2019 and Stage-2 exam will be conducted on 10th May 2019.
Around 5 lakh students appear for this scholarship program annually. Out of 5 lakh entries, only 1000 scholarships are awarded (out of 1000, 775 scholarships are unreserved). Through NTSE 2019, a monthly scholarship of Rs 2000 will be awarded to undergraduates and postgraduates and 1250 for Class 11 and Class 12 candidates. For School Students
School students opting for NTSE registration should be appearing for 10th class exam from a recognized school or have applied for the 10th class through open learning. The age of the students should be less than 18 years and they should have cleared all exams from class 1 to class 10.

How To Fill NTSE Registration Form?
The below-steps are to be followed while filling the NTSE registration form:
- – 1st Step: Visit the official website of NTSE- ncert.nic.in
- – 2nd Step: Click on the link that reads “Apply for NTSE 2019.”
- – 3rd Step: Fill in your “Name”, “Date of birth”, “Contact Number”,“Email ID”, etc.
- – 4th Step: Click on the “Submit” button.
- – 5th Step: Download the NTSE Application Form.
- – 6th Step: Now, fill in your “Personal”, “Educational”, and “Residential” details in your own handwriting.
- – 7th Step: Affix your “Photograph” and put your “Signature” in the space provided.
- – 8th Step: You are required to get the NTSE 2019 application form attested from your principal.
- – 9th Step: Candidates need to pay the application fee in person i.e offline. There is no registration fee for NTSE level 2 exam. Registration fee varies from state to state.
Photograph Specification For NTSE Registration
Applicants affixing their photograph should make sure that the coloured photograph should not be older than 6 months from the date of form filling. The photograph must have a dark background. They should not wear goggles but only simple spectacles in the photo. Female applicants should not wear makeup in the photograph clicked and hair must be properly tied. The photograph for NTSE registration form should be in school uniform.
