NTSE Result 2022: Check Details


NTSE Result: The dates for the release of the result for NTSE stage 1 exam 2022 have not been announced yet. The exam consisted of two papers – the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of total 100 marks. The final scoring keys and scanned images of MAT and SAT papers are also released along with the NTSE Result. Candidates can check their results on the NCERT official website.

The result notice states that the final result and merit lists will be declared tentatively around June 2022. The result for NTSE Stage 1 will be released by all States and Union Territories on their respective websites. However, the NTSE Stage 2 Results are released only on the NCERT official website. NTSE Result 2022: Check NTSE Result Date

NTSE is a scholarship exam for class 10 students of CBSE and state boards. This exam encourages students in class 10 to take up higher studies in the field of Social Science and Science. The NCERT conducts this exam in two stages. The respective authorities of each state or the SCERT conduct the Stage 1 exam and Stage 2 is of the exam is held at the national level by the NCERT. The NTSE Stage 1 and Stage 2 Result Dates are yet to be released for the academic year 2022. The links will be available here for students to check when the results will be declared.

How to Check NTSE Stage 2 Result?

Follow the steps as listed below to check the NTSE Stage 2 Results:

  • 1st Step: Visit the official website of NCERT – ncert.nic.in.
  • 2nd Step: On the home page, click on the “Programmes” tab and select “National Talent Search Examination“.

  • 3rd Step: Now search for the relevant link and click on it.
  • 4th Step: A PDF with category-wise links will open on the screen. Click on the category you belong to.
  • 5th Step: A PDF will open. Press CTRL + F and search for your name. If your name and roll number are there in the PDF then you are qualified in the exam.

How to Check NTSE Stage 1 Result?

The steps to check your NTSE Stage 1 Result are as follows:

  • 1st Step: Candidates are required to visit the official website of their respective state’s NTSE Stage 1 conducting body (or you can check it from the direct links as provided in the table above).
  • 2nd Step: Search for the NTSE Stage 1 Result link on the homepage of the portal.
  • 3rd Step: A new page will open as a PDF. Candidates can search their roll number/name on the list.
  • 4th Step: Download the list for your future reference.

State-Wise Official Website to Check NTSE Stage 1 (2021-22) Results

NTSE 2020-21 Stage 1 result will be released as PDF in the form of a selection/merit list only for a few states. Whereas other states released NTSE Results in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can check their name, roll number, and other details on the merit list. Qualified students of the Stage 1 exam appeared for the NTSE Stage 2 examination. NTSE Qualifying Marks 2022

Candidates appearing for NTSE will be required to secure the minimum qualifying marks in MAT and SAT separately. The category-wise minimum qualifying marks for both the exams are as follows:

NTSE Scholarship 2022

Based on the final announcement of the NTSE merit list, students will be awarded the NTSE scholarship. However, students must meet the NTSE eligibility criteria at each stage of their education to avail the scholarship. The awardees studying in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Languages, Commerce, vocational studies, and fine arts are eligible to receive the scholarship up to Ph.D. level whereas the awardees studying professional courses in medicines, engineering, technology, management, and law, are eligible to receive the scholarship up to second-degree level.
