RBI Assistant Notification for the year 2020 has been issued. As per the RBI Assistant Notification 2020, Reserve Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates for 926 posts of “Assistant” in various offices of the Bank. This will come across as excellent news for aspirants as the RBI Assistant notification was not being expected this year. RBI Assistant examination isn’t held every year. The fact that the RBI Assistant recruitment notification has been issued this year gives the aspirants a huge opportunity. So it is recommended that you start preparing at the earliest. Selection for the post will be through a nation wide competitive examination in two stages i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

3. In addition to the Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc are also granted to the RBI Assistant. Thus, the Gross Salary of a RBI Assistant ranges to approximately Rs. 36,091/- every month.
4. Promotions : There are reasonable prospects for promotion to higher grades.

RBI Assistant Syllabus : Academic Qualifications
i) At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
ii) A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
iii) As per RBI Assistant notification, candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.
