RPF Constable Nationality 2022

To be eligible for the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Constable Exam, an applicant must be one of the following:

1. The candidate must hold an Indian Citizenship
2. He / She can be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. 
3. A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
4. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

Please Note: Candidates belonging to categories 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India in their favor.

RPF Constable Age Limit 2022

The age limit for candidates applying for the RPF Constable is as follows:

• Minimum Age – 18 years
• Maximum Age – 25 years

The age of candidates will be calculated as of July 01, 2022, based on the age calculation criteria outlined in the previous notification.

RPF Constable Age Relaxation

While applying for the RPF Constable, applicants who are beyond the age limit are given age relaxation. The relaxation in age limit is as per rules of Central Government. The details of age relaxation are provided in the table below:

Note- 

• Only the date of birth listed on the 10th/Matriculation or equivalent certificate will be accepted. The lower and upper age limits specified in the Employment Notice will be calculated as of the notification date 2022.
• Candidates from SC/ST who apply through the general category will not be eligible for the relaxation.
• If any candidates are eligible for more relaxation categories, those with the highest level of relaxation will be given preference.

RPF Constable Educational Qualification 2022

The educational requirement for the exam is matriculation or Class 10th from a recognized board. Candidates must have a valid certification for the same. Furthermore, no prior experience is required for the RPF Constable Executive position.

RPF Constable Number of Attempts 

There is no bar to the number of times you can take the RPF Constable Executive Exam. Candidates can register for the exam as many times as they want as long as they meet the eligibility requirements listed above.
