RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Date Out
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) announced the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam date for levels 2, 3 and 5 on July 14, 2022, for the Guwahati region. The exam for pay levels (2, 3 and 5) was held from August 10 to 12, 2022, for all candidates who qualified in the CBT 1 exam. Reasons for RRB NTPC Exam Delay
The last date for filling RRB NTPC application form was April 12, 2019. After that, a considerable delay was seen in the announcement of the RRB NTPC Railway exam date 2022 for RRB NTPC notification number CEN-01/ 2019. - Number of Applications – When the RRB NTPC notification (CEN-01/ 2019) was released, a massive response was witnessed, attracting around 1 crore 25 lakh applicants for RRB NTPC. - Non-finalisation of Testing Agency – RRB released a tender lately inviting the prospective agencies to conduct the RRB exams. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the finalisation of the exam conducting agency was halted. It is one of the significant factors in delaying the exam dates.
- Challenges due to COVID-19 – During the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping in view the safety and social distancing measures, RRB faced particular challenges in conducting the RRB NTPC on a large scale. RRB has conducted the NTPC CBT 1 in seven phases, dividing the applicants’ total adherence to COVID-19 precautionary guidelines. The RRB NTPC CBT 2 is also expected to happen in multiple stages.

RRB NTPC Application Form
The Railway Recruitment Board released the RRB NTPC application form at the official website of the different regional websites on March 1, 2019. The deadline for submitting the application form was March 31, 2019. However, candidates were given a facility to pay the application fee until April 5, 2019. The last date for payment of the application fee was extended until April 12, 2019.
Candidates were able to complete the application submission by paying an amount of Rs. 500 as the application fee (Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ Women/ PWD/ EWS candidates).
RRB NTPC Admit Card
The admit card for RRB NTPC was released by different regional RRBs for NTPC CBT 2 exam on February 11, 2022. Candidates who clear CBT 1 can download the CBT 2 Admit Card 4 days before the examination. The admit card will comprise the date, shift timing, exam centre details, and the test-takers details.
