Tamil Nadu SSLC General Guidelines

Students must study six subjects for the Tamil Nadu SSLC Exam
The Tamil Nadu SSLC exams will have 100 marks for each paper.
The formative test accounts for 20 of the overall score, while the summative evaluation (board exam) accounts for 80.
Each exam requires a minimum score of 35 points to pass.

Tamil Nadu SSLC – Total Time

Class 10 Tamil Nadu exams are conducted for 3 hours, i.e., 180 minutes for each subject. Students will have 15 minutes to go through the question paper before starting the exams. Example: If the examination starts at 9:15 AM, students will get their question paper in hand at 9:00 AM, and they need to start answering the questions at 9:15 AM.

Tamil Nadu SSLC Marking Scheme

To pass the tests, students must receive a minimum of 35% in each subject. The final computation does not factor in the marks earned in the optional subject. Following is the Tamil Nadu SSLC Board exam pattern:

Tamil Nadu SSLC Grading System

As per the grading system followed by the Tamil Nadu Board, grade A is the highest grade for 75% and above ,while no grade is awarded for below 35%.The table below represents the grading system of the Tamil Nadu Board SSLC Exam in detail.
