TN Class 12 Exam Study Plan to Maximise Score

Study Plan to Maximise Score

Students need to prepare an efficient study plan to cover the entire syllabus for Tamil Nadu Board Class 12 so that they can score high marks in the exam. By following the preparation tips shared in the upcoming sections of this article, students can maximise their efforts and achieve greater results.

TN Board Class 12 Exam Preparation Tips

Below are some highly effective and important tips, which can help you get high marks in Class 12 exams without fail:

  • It is not a good idea to try to cram the entire syllabus into one's head because this will cause them to become agitated and forget stuff during tests. On the contrary, if the concepts are properly understood, the exam can be written more effectively. Instead of remembering everything, try to learn by researching the subject in depth.
  • The TN class 12 syllabus for 2022 has been lowered by 30% and divided into two terms this year. Each term's syllabus is made up of 50% of the total. The revised syllabus should be studied by students. If they're studying for a national entrance exam, they should aim to cover the complete course to ensure a deeper understanding.  They can divide the time wisely and have more time for revision if they know the weightage of different topics.
  • Apart from reference materials, there are prescribed textbooks for any board exam that students can turn to. However, referring to numerous books at once can be problematic. While studying, students should keep the exam syllabus in mind and devote more time to textbooks, since they provide the majority of the questions on the TN State Board Class 12 exam.
  • Determine the weak areas and begin improving them so that the overall percentage does not decline. Instead of disregarding one's weaker sections, devote more time to mastering them. It is always important to give more time to the sections one finds difficult. TN class 12 syllabus is vast and requires a lot of time.

  • Decide the answering order and follow it till the end. Try to attempt the questions you are confident about.
  • Check the entire answer sheet before submitting it. Avoid digital distractions as they can affect your focus. digital distractions

  • Solving the previous year's question papers can be highly beneficial when it comes to TN Board Class 12 exams.  It enhances your knowledge on the difficulty level, and topic-wise questions and also improves your time-management skills. It is ideal to solve at least 10 years of question papers before the final board exam
  • In the final examination, write with clarity, and maintain good handwriting. Clear and concise answers fetch more marks and create a great impression.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Exam Counselling

Exam counselling

While students are preparing for their TN Board Class 12 exam, there is another aspect they need to plan, which is what after class 12? Class 12 is an important stage in a student’s academic life as it plays a huge role in deciding their future career. Exam counselling by experts and parents can help students get more clarity on a lot of aspects including the career path they can choose.

Student Counselling

After grade 12, the most difficult decision for any child is deciding on a good professional route. The vast majority of students select courses without first assessing their own strengths, limitations, or interests. They make a poor decision due to peer pressure, then attempt to change courses or colleges afterwards, which can prove ineffective

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tamil Nadu Board of Education has introduced a number of creative steps to support children and their parents. A manual on mental health and wellbeing, as well as a series of webinars for students, teachers, and parents' psychosocial well-being and mental wellness, are among the activities.

Parent/Guardian Counselling

Parents should be aware of the opportunities available for the students after they finish their class 12 exams. They must take care that the wards are not pressurised and have a clear idea on the exam pattern, previous year analysis of the TN board class 12 exams, marking scheme, eligibility criteria, etc. Students should not be mentally exhausted.

Practical Knowledge/Career Goals

Future Skills

  • Hardware and software components are combined in endpoint IoT devices. With processors being integrated into everything from a toaster to a factory machine, the demand for embedded software engineers is growing. An engineer should be able to write embedded software that functions in an uncontrolled physical environment and cope with inaccurate data (think sensor drifts).
  • Because IoT devices typically have limited computational resources, C is the language of choice for developing embedded software. It is small, requires little processing resources, provides quick performance, and is suitable for developing low-level programmes.
  • C++ is typically used as a preprocessor for C because it lacks object-oriented features. Other languages, such as Java SE Embedded and Java ME Embedded, have recently gained popularity among embedded engineers.
  • Experience with GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) and I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit — pronounced I-squared-C) interfaces, which are used to create communication between a microcontroller and a connected device, is another crucial asset for embedded software development.
