BITSAT Selection Process: The BITS Pilani has released exam dates for Session I and Session II of BITSAT 2025. The BITSAT 2025 Phase 1 application process started on January 21, 2025, and will continue until April 18, 2025. BITSAT 2025 will be conducted in two sessions: Session 1 will take place from May 26 to May 30, 2025, and Session 2 will be held from June 22 to June 26, 2025. The authorities will release the session 1 admit card on May 23, 2025. The selection process entirely depends on the scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination.

Primarily candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the exam. Once the results are announced candidates will be called for the counselling process and seats will be allocated for the undergraduate programs offered in BITS. BITSAT Admission Process 2025

Admissions will be based on merit. The merit position for the candidate will be ascertained by the score obtained by the candidate in BITSAT 2025. The eligibility criteria depend on the minimum marks in the Class 12th Examination as stated in the BITSAT eligibility criteria. The institute considers the latest performance for admission.

BITSAT Admission Criteria for Direct Admissions

Candidates who secure the top rank in the Class 12 board exam, or its equivalent from a recognised state or central board, are eligible for direct admissions. They must also comply with the eligibility criteria and minimum aggregate marks in mandatory subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics. 

• The admission is open to candidates who score the first rank in their respective boards. 
• Candidates who are seeking direct admission must attach certain documents such as a class 10th marks sheet, and 12th marks sheet with a letter from the respective board stating that the candidate is a topper in the stream. 
• Documents related to extracurricular activities etc. are also advantageous for the direct admission scheme. 
• The institute is guided by the data provided by the respective boards. 
• If the data provided is insufficient before the deadline or not inconclusive, then the board will not consider it for the direct admission scheme. In that case, the vice-chancellor is liable to take a decision.

Note: The summer term fees must be paid at the beginning of each semester if the candidates are previously registered, which eventually gets adjusted at the end of each semester.

BITSAT Cut-off 2025
