In this step, candidates will be allowed to fill in their choices by selecting the names of institutes and courses in the order of their preference. Also, during the MHT CET choice-filling process, the candidate may choose from a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 options. Candidates should double-check their preferences because options can’t be changed after the MHT CET counselling deadline.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is conducting the MHT CET 2023 seat allotment through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) in three rounds. Candidates can check their allotted seats in MHT CET 2023 by logging in with the required credentials. If a candidate is allotted a seat, he/she will have to download their allotment letter and report to the centre to select their preferred option (freeze, float or slide) for the seat allotted. Candidates must confirm their allotted seat at the institute if they feel satisfied.
Note: The exam authority will conduct the CAP Round II and CAP Round III depending on available vacant seats.

The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme refers to the one launched by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Under the TFWS scheme, the exam authority reserves 5% of seats in the technical courses offered by various colleges. The TFWS applies only to institutes where 30% of seats are filled through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates from the Maharashtra Candidature category are eligible to register for courses under TFWS. Candidates must note that their parent’s annual income must be less than Rs. 8 Lakh to be eligible for this scheme.
