MHT CET Seat Allotment 2023: The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) initiates the seat allotment process once the MHT CET result is declared, which involves allocating seats to eligible candidates based on their merit and preference of course and college. SCETC will release the MHT CET seat allotment result on the official website. Candidates can access the seat allotment results by providing their login credentials, i.e., application number and date of birth, on the official website.
SCETC will conduct the MHT CET seat allotment process to allot B.Tech seats to the shortlisted candidates in different participating institutes. – MHT CET PCM exams will be conducted from May 9 to 13, 2023 and the PCB exams from May 15 to 20, 2023.
The seats will be allotted to candidates through a centralised process called CAP. The seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s rank secured in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2023. Such candidates will be allotted seats based on their preference of college and the course they have filled in the application form. Candidates can check below the steps involved in MHT CET seat allotment:
Candidates must log in and download the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2023 provisional seat allotment letter in the form of a PDF. They must take a printout of the letter, which will be required during admission. The allotment letter will contain the details of the allotted institution.
Following the seat allotment process, candidates must report to the reporting centre to confirm their seat allotment and select options for consecutive rounds of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test seat allotment. Candidates will be able to freeze, slide, or float their assigned seats.
Candidates must report to the allotted institute per the schedule for document verification and pay the remaining fee.

The MHT CET counselling will be conducted in three rounds, followed by a spot/institutional round if there are vacancies. The whole counselling session will be a Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
Candidates have to register and fill in their choices of colleges in the order of their preference. After registration, candidates would get their documents verified at the designated FCs. For MHT CET 2023 qualified candidates, there is no counselling fee.
