As far as we know our planet is the only one where life exists. Life depends on many factors. For life to exist, there has to be ambient temperature, water, and food for energy. The Sun at the perfect distance and the resources available on earth are the key factors for life to exist on earth. The land, water, and air that are present on the outer crust of the earth (called as Lithosphere) is an essential component for life. 75% of the Lithosphere is covered by water. Water can also be found underground, this is called as Hydrosphere. The lithosphere is covered by a blanket of air called the atmosphere. Life exists where lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere exist and the place where all these three exists is called the biosphere.
