In this section, we have provided some important preparation tips to help students prepare for the exam.

Haryana Board Class 12 Preparation Tips 2024

Below we have provided preparation tips for Class 12 students:

  • Make a Study Schedule: The first step toward preparing for the Class 12 HBSE exam is to make a proper study schedule. Students should try focusing on topics which they find difficult so that they do not lose marks in the exams.
  • Revision is the Key: It is advised that students should revise all concepts as many times as possible. Revising all the concepts before exams gives a finishing touch to your preparation. It is important to brush up on all that you have read often so that when you have to revise it all during the preparation days, it won’t take much of your time.
  • Previous Year Question Papers: All students must solve the previous year’s question papers. While solving these papers, students realise their weaknesses, improve their problem-solving skills, and ultimately gain confidence to face the test. Previous year’s HBSE 12th question papers help the students test their understanding and knowledge and give them an idea of managing time during the actual exam.
  • Learn to Manage Time: Mock tests and sample papers are available at Embibe for free. Students must take as many of these tests as they can, which will help them combat exam anxiety. It will help them manage their time during the exam. Most students get stuck on a question and lose time, but by practising model papers, they realise what problems/questions deserve more attention and prioritise finishing their exam first.
  • Prepare Notes: Students must make notes for all the subjects. It is better to prepare handwritten notes as you will put your mind to it and the effort. This will be a quick recall or a way to register the facts. For numerical subjects like Physics and Maths, make sticky notes for the formulas. It helps you remember them for a longer period. The students can take help from this for the last-minute revision.
  • Practice the Diagrams: In Science, diagrams and equations play a huge role. A good diagram can get good marks. Thus, students must give proper time to practising the diagrams. The traditional drawing will be helpful for you to draw them smoothly and easily during the exam. It gives an extra edge to your answer and often is the reason for getting a good score.
  • Read the Textbooks Thoroughly: Students are advised to carefully go through all the topics mentioned in their HBSE Class 12th textbooks because the question papers will be designed according to the topics mentioned there. So always give your prescribed textbooks a good read.
  • Get Proper Rest and Diet: Students must sleep for 6-7 hours for comfortable sleep. Good sleep will make them feel refreshed and well-rested. They must eat a healthy diet. Eating protein-rich, green vegetables makes them feel energetic and taking breaks while studying will keep their minds relaxed.
