
IBPS RRB 2020: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the IBPS RRB Main exam dates on the official website. The officials of IBPS also released a new short notice regarding the extension of IBPS RRB Application Form Dates and an increase in the number of vacancies. The officials released the notification under CRP-RRBs-IX for the post of Officers Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) by releasing this Supplementary Advertisement in continuation to IBPS RRB 2020 exam.
Earlier IBPS RRB notification was released for a total of around 9698 vacancies for the post of Office Assistants and Officer Scale I, II & III. But now the vacancies have been increased from 9698 to 10,493. IBPS RRB is a national-level exam conducted every year. IBPS RRB 2020
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released the revised exam dates for IBPS RRB 2020 Mains Exam. The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 30, 2021. Whereas, the IBPS RRB Office Assistant exam will be conducted on February 20, 2021.
IBPS had also reopened the IBPS RRB 2020 Online Application Process and increased the vacancies. Only the following candidates could apply for IBPS RRB 2020:
a. Candidates who fulfilled the eligibility conditions by 9th November 2020.
b. Candidates who were unable to fill out the IBPS RRB Application Form from 1st July 2020 to 27th July 2020

IBPS RRB 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants should be aware of the detailed eligibility requirement posted by IBPS RRB. The eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB 2020 are given below:
Nationality
The candidate must be either-
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

The age criteria for IBPS RRB posts as on July 01, 2020, are given as under:

How To Apply For IBPS RRB 2020?
The IBPS RRB Application Form was available online on the official website of IBPS – ibps.in. The online application process is over. However, the steps to apply are given below and future aspirants can refer to them:
- – 1st Step: Visit the official website of IBPS at ibps.in.
- – 2nd Step: Click on the link “Click here to apply online for CRP RRBs-IX”.
- – 3rd Step: Now, click on either “Click Here to Apply Online for CRP RRBs – Officers (Scale I, II & III)” or “Click Here to Apply Online for CRP RRBs – Office Assistant (Multipurpose)”.
- – 4th Step: Click on “Click Here for New Registration”.
- – 5th Step: Enter your basic information, like Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, and Mobile Number to register yourself.
- – 6th Step: A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated after you have submitted all the basic information. It is advised to note these down. However, the same will also be sent to you via your registered email ID and phone number.
- – 7th Step: Log in with your Provisional Registration Number and Password to proceed with the next step of registration. You can also edit the particulars, if necessary.
- – 8th Step: Upload the scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and a hand-written declaration in the required format as specified by the officials.
- – 9th Step: Enter your Personal, Academic, Experience, and other details.

Important Points To Note: Here are a few important points to note regarding IBPS RRB registration 2020:
- Make sure to click on “Save & Next” after every step. Failing to do this, you will be asked to enter the same details again and again.
- Candidates applying for the post of Office Assistant and Officer Scale I must indicate the state that they are applying for.
- As the process is online, it’s not necessary to send the printout of IBPS RRB application form to IBPS or the banks.

For the post of Officer Scale-II and III, candidates have to secure the minimum IBPS RRB sectional as well as overall cutoff marks of the Single Level Examination to appear for an Interview.
Quick Note: The online tests for all posts are objective in nature. Candidates should note that there is a penalty for wrong answers in all stages of IBPS RRB 2020. For every incorrect answer, one-fourth of the mark assigned to the question will be deducted.
The final selection of candidates for the respective posts will be based on the following:

IBPS RRB 2020 Cutoff
For every stage of the exam, i.e. Prelims, Mains, Single Level Exam, there are two types of IBPS RRB cutoff – sectional cutoff, and overall cutoff. Candidates have to clear both the IBPS RRB cut off marks in order to qualify in a particular stage and be eligible to appear for the next stage. The IBPS RRB cutoff will depend upon the following factors:
- Number of candidates applied for the post
- Number of vacancies
- Difficulty level of the paper
- Performance of the candidates

IBPS RRB 2020 Admit Card
The IBPS RRB admit card is released separately for each stage of the selection process:
- – For Pre-Examination Training (for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I), the IBPS RRB 2020 call letter is released only for candidates belonging to SC, ST, Minority Communities, PwD, and Ex-SM categories and who have opted for the same during filling the form.
- – Due to COVID 19, the IBPS RRB PET (Pre-Exam Training) has been canceled and the admit card was not released for the same.
- – For IBPS RRB Prelims (for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I), the IBPS RRB admit card is issued for all the candidates who have successfully applied for the exam.
- – For IBPS RRB Mains (for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I), the IBPS RRB admit card will be released only for those candidates who have cleared the Prelims.
- – For IBPS RRB Single Level Exam (for Officer Scale-II and III), the IBPS RRB admit card will be released for every candidate who has applied for the respective posts.
- – For IBPS RRB Interview (for Officer, Scale I, II, and III), the IBPS RRB admit card will be released only for those candidates who clear the Main/Single Level Exam.

IBPS RRB 2020 Result
The IBPS RRB result will be released separately for each stage of the selection process. The result will be released on the official website of IBPS. For the post of Officer Scale I, II, and III, the marks secured by the candidates in the Mains exam will not be shared prior to the Interview. IBPS RRB Exam Day Guidelines For COVID 19
Due to the present situation of COVID 19, IBPS has released important guidelines that are to be followed on the exam day. Check the details below:
- – Candidates will have to wear their masks/face covers compulsorily.
- – Apart from the admit card and photo ID card, gloves, a personal transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), and a pen will also be allowed in the exam hall.
- – Candidates will have to report to the exam center 15 minutes before the reporting time as mentioned on the admit card.
- – The ‘Roll Number’ and ‘Lab Number’ will not be displayed at the exam center and the same will be intimated to the candidates individually at the time of the entry of the candidate to the exam venue, after the admit card and identity verification.
- – Candidates must not share any personal belongings with others.
- – On the exam day, candidates will have to stand in a row as per the instructions provided at the venue.
- – Candidates must maintain a safe social distance from one another.
- – The Arogya Setu App must be installed on the candidate’s mobile phone.
- – The candidate will have to show the Arogya Setu App Risk Factor status to the Security Guard at the entrance.
- – After the Aarogya Setu status display at the entry gate, candidates need to switch off their mobile phones and deposit them at the designated location. The same has to be collected while exiting.
- – All candidates will be checked for temperature with Thermo guns at the entry point.
- – At the exam center, the candidate’s registration will be done through photo capture. The photograph will be taken while the candidate is standing. Thereafter, the seat number will be given to the candidate.
