JoSAA Opening and Closing Rank 2022: Today, on September 23, 2022, the authorities released the seat allocation for JoSAA 2022 round 1. Candidates may examine the JoSAA counselling round 1 cut-off without requiring a login.  The JoSAA 2022 counselling cut-off is declared by the administrators for each round individually. When determining a cut-off, JoSAA considers various factors, including the test’s difficulty level, patterns from prior years’ cut-offs, the number of applicants for a certain course, and more.

JoSAA Counselling 2022

The officials of JoSAA will conduct counselling in different participating institutes based on the JEE score. The procedure of JoSAA counselling 2022 includes several steps such as registration, payment of fee, mock and another seat allotment, candidate reporting and confirmation of admission. Ans: In general, students are required to have JEE Main rank within the top 30,000 to have a seat in any of the NITs across the country.

Ans: Opening rank means the maximum score; however, closing means the minimum score which will help the candidate to get admitted to the particular college. 

Q.3: What percentile is required for JoSAA?
Ans: For reserved categories, the aggregate marks that aspirants need to secure is 65%. However, if the aspirants come under the top 20 percentile of their board, they will also be eligible for admission.
