KEAM Seat Allotment 2021 – Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala, has released the KEAM allotment 2021 for round 3 on November 9, 2021, for candidates who qualified in the counselling process. Candidates can check the KEAM third allotment result on the official website at cee.kerala.gov.in. The qualified candidates who have been allotted seats in the KEAM first seat allotment have to complete the KEAM admission process as required. The qualified candidates of KEAM are allotted seats through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Admission to the engineering courses is done based on merit by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the marks secured in KEAM 2021 and marks secured in PCM in the qualifying exam.
Candidates whose names are enlisted in the KEAM seat allotment round 3 list for KEAM Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy Courses need to take a printout of their allotment letter and remit the fee to the CEE. The fee can be paid at any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or via Online mode between November 10, 2021, and November 15, 2021 (4 pm). After successful payment of the fee, the candidates should report to the allotted college before 4 pm on November 15, 2021 (4 pm). After the completion of the counselling process including registration and filling the options, the KEAM allotment process is initiated. Candidates will have to appear for the allotment rounds based on their ranks, choices locked and more.
KEAM seat allotment is done on a trial basis initially before the actual conduction of the seat allotment. In order to initiate the KEAM seat allotment 2021, candidates need to complete the counselling process. The KEAM 2021 counselling will include registration and filling of options. After the options have been filled by the candidates they can participate in the KEAM trial allotment process. Participating in the trial allotment will lead the candidate to get an idea of what college and course they will get based on the choices made during the registration for the counselling process. After the counselling process is complete, candidates can proceed further with the seat allotment process. The KEAM 2021 seat allotment process includes trial allotment and a number of seat allotment rounds. CEE releases merit lists for different phases of the seat allotment process. Candidates who will not get the allotment in round one of seat allotment may be allotted seats in further rounds of the KEAM 2021 seat allotment. Identical to round 1, candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee for the course and college allotted in the respective seat allotment round.
If candidates get an allotment of seats other than the seat they got in round 1 they will have to pay the difference of the fee as prescribed in the seat allotment memo. This process of KEAM seat allotment is carried further until all the seats are exhausted.
The mop-up round of seat allotment is conducted for the seats left vacant after all the rounds of seat allotment. Candidates whose names were included in the merit lists will be eligible for this round of the seat allotment.
Once the seat allotment of KEAM 2021 is done, candidates are required to get their documents verified. Document verification is necessary in order to check the eligibility of the candidate. Candidates who are found ineligible after the document verification will not be allotted any seat irrespective of the rank secured in the KEAM 2021.
