MET Eligibility Criteria 2020
Manipal University offers 16 courses for which candidates can take MET (MU OET) 2020 to land a seat in the desired Engineering course. Manipal University has a set eligibility pattern for candidates who wish to take MET. Read below to know more about the eligibility criteria of MET 2020.
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/and technical vocational subject as optional, from recognized Board.
- He/She must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates should have passed A level or IB or Americal 12th grade
- Age Bar – There is no minimum age bar.

How to fill MET Application Form 2020?
The process of filling the application process is the first step towards MET (MU OET) 2020. Candidates can fill the MET application form by visiting the official website of Manipal University i.e. www.manipal.edu. Candidates can fill the form till May 15, 2020. While registering for an application form candidate needs to use valid email id and an active phone number.
After completing the registration process, candidates can proceed for the application form filling process. For filling the complete application form a candidate will be asked to fill personal details like name, address, category, etc. The candidate will be asked to fill the academic details also. The third step is to upload the documents asked in the form. the application process of MET ends with the payment of application fees.
MET Application Fee – The application fees for General category (for all courses) is rupees 600 and the fees for entrance examination is rupees 1400 (for selected courses only). The application fees of Foreign/NRI/NRI Sponsored is rupees 2500.
What is next after filling the application form?
After filling the application form the next step for a candidate is to book the slot for the exam. As Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is an online exam, the candidate has to book the preferred city for Online Test Booking System (OTBS) based on the seats available in that particular centre. The slot booking process is expected to start in April 2020.
Note: Candidates should note that in case of the fewer number of applicants from a particular city, the test centre at the nearest city will be made available in the OTBS.

- If the first attempt is in Slot 2 on (supposed) April 15, to book the second attempt on the immediate next day, candidates need to login to OBTS on the same day before 10 PM and book any slot in the next 7 days based on the availability of seats.
How to get MET Admit Card 2020
After booking the exam slot, candidates can download the MET 2020 admit card. Candidates can visit the official website of Manipal University and get the admit card. The hall ticket of MET 2020 is an important document to carry on the day of the exam and the day of counselling. Any candidate without admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
